I installed my muffler skid plate this morning. HUUUGE improvement. The heat resistant paint behind the cutout helped blend it. Thanks for the help and suggestions.
(My husband rolled his eyes when I told him this would be the last install for a while…)

Edit: I do feel the need to add that I did this install by myself

Mine is being delivered today. Do you have time to drop by and install it for me?

Took a drive to Chicago on Saturday to ref at the Mid-West Rugby Championships. Ran into this from south of Indy to just north of Lafayette (Indiana) on I-65. Love driving in it...

Finished my install this am on a M.O.R.E. engine/trans. aluminum skid plate set for the 392 XR. Was a PITA but happy with it overall. Also protects both cats and the low hanging exhaust crossover. And also as a side benefit makes cat theft much more difficult.

I guess they could, factory plates would have the same issue. I live in Fla. so that is a non issue for me but washing out mud would be advisable as well.

I have the same M.O.R.E oil pan/trans skid plate. It was the only company that I could find that offered that skid plate as opposed to getting a complete skid plate system.

It’s the Mopar 3 loop grille guard with the Mopar light brackets and some BD LP6s.
I had them mounted on top but l think they look better and are more effective how they are now.

Thanks. I agree, they look better lower. I was going to go with that grill guard until I found my 6" KC slims wouldn't clear, thus my interest in your mount system.

• AAL shelf
• Custom wood platform
• Dual 30AH with custom hold down bracket.

Before anyone gets on me about the shelf… yes I know the shelf is backwards. It was installed this way on purpose for a couple reasons. First I prefer the plano boxes to be centered under roll cage and second I prefer to have things set forward more for future custom work/mods on the front of the shelf along with some hanging drawers.

That custom wood platform looks JUST like mine. I dont understand what you meant about the shelf being backwards.
I have and do recommend their flat slide 6 x 4. I asked for it without the dog bone cut outs because I wanted to precisely mount my Dometic CFX3 45.
