You are welcome! The skid plate I ordered must have been in stock as I received notification that it shipped the next day. It arrived within a week from the Kansas/Missouri area to Southern Arizona.

Added some painted fender vents. Gonna install some topographic decals around them when they come in to see how it looks.

At 7500 miles, replaced factory diff covers with pure RuffStuff Specialties beef. Refilled with 75W-140.

The rear gear oil came out pretty dark. Both front and rear have metal shavings at the refill plugs magnet.

Reused the gasket, refilled about 1.6qt rear and 1.3qt front. I didn’t measure just ballparks by looking at the pouch. Try not to overfill.

Long story, but picked up mine from the body shop today sans the Rubicon stickers on the hood. I wanted to remove the 392 badges as well, but they aren't just glued on. There are two holes in the hood below them :-(

Where did you get the vents from or did you paint yourself? Was looking a Distinction Applied products.

I have an electric winch that I use for taking my top off. I take it off and put it back on by myself all the time. I tend to scratch the top of my tub rails and those scratches were starting to bug me. I got a quote to get the top of the rails painted with Rhinoliner for $250-300. The installers concern was the normal thickness of the liner might affect the way the hard top sits and lines up. I came across these AFE Terra guard tub rail covers for about $120 and I figured I’d order them, try them out and probably return them. I’ll be honest, I kinda like them. The color and texture pretty much exactly match the interior plastic of our Jeeps. They are well made and fit perfectly snug and use the 8 screws from the top. The only thing I might have done differently in design is counter sunk the screws. But really no big deal. I actually forgot I ordered these several months ago. Most all of AFEs products are on back order.

Aftermarket coil packs are one of those mods where you have good luck or a bunch of problems. Hope you have good luck.

I like the way those look. Can you leave them on when you put the top back on? Or are these just to put on when the top is off?

Edit: Never mind. I answered my own question. But you still cost me 120 bucks...
