🛠️ What did you do to your Jeep 392 today?

I think the forums created a run on that seal tubing. I got mine from Amazon for $18 but I have not put it on yet.

Installed MP concepts spare tire carrier and tailgate reinforcement. Now my backup sensors aren’t going friggin nuts.

I've been thinking about them. $190 for 4 aluminum blocks is a little steep.

Its definitely steep for small metal blocks.....but the fit is literally perfect. It Just depends how uncomfortable you are. I've put them in 2 of my 3 vehicles. I can say they definitely help and are noticeable for longer drives. To me they are worth more than their cost.
The cheap way to do the same thing is with multiple fender washers from the hardware store.

It keep stones from working their way in between fender and the abutting side. Those stones are a bitch to get out and scratch the paint. Speaking from experience its definitely a cheap worthwhile "mod"

Yes, I had heard about this before even getting my 392 but the problem is on all JL's. I had the tubing when my 392 came in but someone in the transit pipeline got mine filled with dirt and grime and its been hard to get out.

Because the fender gaps are rock collectors. Im sure you can image what rocks can do when lodged between two crushing/vibrating painted surfaces. The welting helps prevent that.

It does! Thought I was in an mild earthquake! Driving it home last night, I went to adjust the seat and apparently hit the massage button. Scared the bejesus outa me!

The dealer confirmed that the AT4X is the Denali with a 2" factory lift. It appears he was right.

Badass truck. I’d take that over the street edition Denali. GM has come a long way with their interiors. The previous generation was dated as hell.

Then I bought a 392 and two things happened: ran out of money and ran out of garage space. No way I was getting a great new truck like that and keeping it out of the garage.

While out cruising in my Jeep I ran across one of our State Troopers BadASS Challenger’s and had to stop, chat, and thank our Men in Blue for keeping us and our roads safe and take a few pics.
Take the time to stop in your Jeep 392 and shake the hand of your local Law Enforcement officers, most of them greatly appreciate our support!

I saw him in a parking lot and I kicked my girl in the ass, whipped her into the parking lot, did a full 360* doughnut around him and slid to a stop. After the smoke cleared, I’m sure it was surreal to the Trooper as I emerged from all the smoke from my pretty much my brand new BFG KM3 37” tires.
I’m sure he was temporarily stunned by the exhaust note coming from my fire breathing 6.4 392 with 470 Ass Kickin’ Donkeys under the hood that he was hesitant to engage in conversation due to total intimidation and fear….
I’m just kidding, the first seven words are true, the rest is complete and utter bullshit.

Laid everything out and tried to do an inventory before I started and I'm missing bolts. The instructions are terrible and do not address the 392 or the muffler skid plate. You do need to have the fuel tank almost empty as you have to support it with 2 cargo straps and remove the factory fuel skid plat prior to installation. Their system without the UHMW is 125 lbs. I think after you remove all the factory skids along with the factory fuel tank skid you gain about 40 lbs plus the weight of the UHMW which I'm not sure what that weighs. I should put it all on a scale and see what it weighs. My Jeep is full of fuel at the moment and I'm still waiting for the 2nd set of bolts to arrive. Hopefully they write new instructions along with an accurate inventory sheet. Troy

Just weighed the muffler skid plate with all hardware to include the UHMW and it weighs 50 lbs. Great product but it's like putting a jig saw together without instructions.
