🛠️ What did you do to your Jeep 392 today?

I second the gloves, also I used a lot of masking tape to keep from scratching the plastics. Just looking at them wrong scratches them!

Re: Armorlite installation - WEAR GLOVES! Those stretchy elastic ones that are nitrile dipped are good. The edges of the Armorlite can be a little unforgiving.

As for my ARB Twin under the passenger seat, on the Kraken mount - I went to Ace Hardware and picked up longer bolts for the rear mounts of the passenger seat. I didn't cut my Armorlite, but that would have been another option.
I thought about this but didn’t it kick the seat forward? The opposite of seat jackers lol

I didn’t think about the gloves though 🤦

Installing ArmorLite this weekend. Any suggestions or tips for those that've done it? Read trough the instructions, watched some videos, seems easy enough just time consuming. I'm contemplating leaving the seats in. I don't have the space to put them anywhere at my place, so unless it's highly recommended to remove them completely, I'll drive to my in-laws to do the work.
I installed the Armorite in my two door JK a couple years back. Total PITA with the seats in place. Really had to fight to get it underneath certain black trim pieces on the JK, and then the trim pieces wouldn't sit back in place flush because the Armorlite is such a thick product. I also had to trim a bit away in various areas to get it to fit. Otherwise it was well worth the money.

I recommend leaving it out in the sun or a hot area to get the plastic to ease up and flex with ease.

Not at all, at least not anything that is noticeable. When I did my Armorlite, I also installed Sound Assassins deadening too, so I had some 'extra' that needed to be dealt with.

The stock bolts for the rear of the passenger seat rails were just too short to get any meaningful thread purchase - slightly longer bolts solved that issue, and when tightening them down, everything cinched into place real nice.

Disclaimer, I am also using the Desert Does It Seat Jackers. But still, torquing down the rear bolts squished everything together nicely. 🤣

Oh, and don't feel bad about the gloves... I didn't wear gloves either and hadn't thought of it until after I was finished.

Installed Next Ventures Front Diff Skid. Fits on the AEV cover with longer screws.

Finally got my custom plates that says U HEM1. Unfortunately the AWE exhaust is not going on till spring but even the stock sounds good!

Installed the Armorlite today. Everything went smoothly aside from the extra thickness of the floor has caused the electrical of the air compressor under the passenger seat to hit the crossbar of the seat if slid back too far. Bought a pair of seat jacks to lift the seat to fix it. The flooring is awesome and am really happy with it.
