🛠️ What did you do to your Jeep 392 today?

Finally got all the small odds and ends I needed to finish my air compressor.
A look at the bottom, I cut most of the ARB harness away and rewired the original switch and used a switch block instead of a single terminal for each contact. Keeps it cleaner and more secure, not sure why ARB wouldn’t use them to begin with. I used Tessa tape to wrap every inch of wire I could including the 4 gauge cables coming from the battery and also wrapped the power cables with split wire loom for protection under the Jeep.

A look at the control panel facing forward behind the seat. I added auxiliary posts so in the future I can add accessories or just use it as temporary power at anytime without needing to run more wires to the back. It is all supported by 4 gauge cable, good for 150 amps.

view with the seat up. It looks tight to reach the compressor switch but from outside the Jeep it feels very natural to reach in to flip the switch.

i added a removable molle panel to gain access to the fuses and air distribution block

Panel in place and fire extinguisher and med kit hooked down

Under the hood I added in a 500 amp power disconnect solenoid and a power distribution block. Both the winch and air compressor power is controlled by the solenoid, I still have one port for a spare. the solenoid is controlled by aux switch 2 set to ignition on.

I took the Jeep out and hooked the winch to a tree and pulled the Jeep with all four tires locked up for 15-20 seconds and had no loss of power and no terminal heat so I should safe.
I want that!

You may beat me. They punctured my AC condenser when installing something so they had to order me a new one. 1-2 days to get it.

Recently got the PSC, sliders, and atlas among a few other smaller bits done by my local goto shop. Put some time into the rig yesterday installing the mobile radio from my previous rig, then the spare tire delete including the license plate relocation and lights, then the AAL TACS for my onboard air in the tailgate.

Wasn't easy as there were many hurdles from user error, from faulty pieces, locating tools that I just had in my hands a minute before, and figuring out between the tacs and spare delete, what had to go in order to make life easier. Was a long tedious day/night, should have done this on a weekend but leading a trail this weekend for my group in my newish rig.

Still need to install my rear axle shaft, then my front bumper by AAL should be in so thatll be an afternoon including the winch.

Installed Metalcloack crossmember. Should have done it before all the other stuff in the way.

Combo locks are from Amazon. Someone posted them on the site and its a cool idea. Cant remember who but credit to them.

Drawers:
2x AAL 6x3 M.A.S.S storage drawers
1x AAL M.A.S.S (3”) storage drawer
Thank you!

How much better is MC cross member than stock in your opinion of course thanks
Its quite a bit beefier than stock. Can def feel the weight difference. One reason I went with it is that I stripped a hole where the skid plates mount a while back.

Thanks had I gone with the long arm lift that’s part of the kit 👍
