🛠️ What did you do to your Jeep 392 today?

We had a good snow storm last week. And as I always do, I posted on the neighborhood Facebook page that if people get stuck, they can message me. If I'm available, I'll come pull them out. Because a tow truck will take hours and cost a couple body parts.

One poor lady thought it was dry enough and drove her F150 back into their pasture with hay for their horses. Broke through the crust on the surface and immediately sank hub deep on all four.

The others were all basically the same story. Slid in the ice and missed their driveway, dropping 1-2 tires into the ditch.

What a great idea to post that to your neighborhood. I will do the same if we get snow this year.

Works great on steep downhill where you can’t see 👍I would imagine on sand dunes flopping from one bowl to the next would be nice as well .

There are posts about obstruction of camera view with pictures seems to be no problem.
 
Then yesterday, 6" new of heavy wet free water glue for snow, sticking in my snowshoes, and raising the next signal of caution heading in.

Another sign: At 7800', end of travel as we realised an ice layer had formed underneath just spinning with all locked, so we hand-braked turned with rear lockers and so the team Labrador said good bye to our favourite jumpoff til next June.

And when you're dragging with AEV suspension and 37s for the last 2 miles, it's getting deep, another sign....

But the final sign 3 miles back down- an hour's worth of winching, with the jeep being pulled because of the ice layer, we winched them bit by bit and snuck through -- nothing like watching your Jeep slide by as you push the winch button!

I'd been watching these broken trees for month and the heavy snow finally brought them down, but I can't use a chainsaw as I have cervical myelopathy, but the trusty winch did the job.

When I bought the 392, the windshield washer didn't work. Turns out it's because the PO had removed the reservoir to make the Motorbilt flares/liners fit right. So today I installed the Motobilt relocation tank. Easy install, and now Zeus can wash off the ick.
 
I keep losing fuel rather quickly. No leaks or anything in or outside of the vehicle. The harder I drive, the quicker it goes down. I went and filled her up today and that fixed the issue, for now. Keeps happening though. I'll keep everyone posted.

I've had that same problem. I noticed a connection with a loss of tread on my tires. Have you?
 
Took The Fantoms first pics. Installed the table/shelf that came with it. Removed the front bumper ends. Added

a set of Barricade side steps. Not sure if I like them because the tube that drops down is right where I want to step to get into the Jeep. They only cost me $250 so if they don't work out I can sell them of toss them and not loose alot of money.

Yeah those are low hanging fruit...I have AMP steps and are not rock rails, but tuck up nicely.
