Ted392 Mods

Ted, have you noticed any rubbing after relocating the SS? I’m running the Fox ATS JK version because it comes with the tie rod clamp and track bar axle bolt. I’ve noticed the SS shock body edge contacting the tie rod at full wheel lock to passenger side. Ive rotated the SS a few times, can’t clear tie rod. Will get a bracket to move it a bit higher.

Just wondering if you had the same issue.

I did a quick look and I do not see any rub marks with my setup.

Strange that you have rubbing.

Thanks. I’ve seen another member on the JL forum having this same clearance issue with stock tie rod and track bar but with Fox TS without the resi. I just placed order on a relocation bracket, hope that addresses the issue.

Thanks!
It can be installed while on the ground, but after a life time if wrenching on the floor, I saved my pennies for a lift, before inflation!

The front yoke bracket is easily installed. Connects to the motor mount brackets via existing holes. The rear is easy as well. It's the driverside cat skid that should be redesigned. I might keep it off.
Love the lift in the Garage wish I had a taller ceiling 👍

This works great

I wish I could dig a pit in my garage but I have post tension slab so I can’t even do that so it’s moving pads on the ground in the garage jacks and blocks of wood . But I’ve been doing that since I was 16 now 64 so I guess another 10 or 15 years isn’t gona make much difference but I still like your lift worth every penny

Installed the MORryde Overhead MOLLE Rack Kit. Fits with my Genrite Cargo Shelf. Great platform for storing sone extraction gear and Starlink Mini. Thanks @guruman

The SOT box takes some of the space, but still plenty space to use.

So I decided to remove a 2 gallon rotopax mount on my spare tire setup and mount a strong metal plate. The plate holds my Statlink Mini in place nicely. I was going to mount it inside, but with the SOT and it's rear metal box, there really was no good place to mount it. So outside it goes.

This summer, the 392 heads to eastern Oregon until after our yearly Colorado trip in August. July is Alaska trek, but not in the 392. Using the powerwagon with 392. The mini will transfer to the truck for remote work.

Back from Alaska. Awesome, just awesome. Now I'm at the ranch in Eastern OR, hitting some trails and then heading to Ouray.

I've ghosted this site over the winter due to C2 Corvette'itis! The 392 is out of upper deck dusty winter storage and getting ready for another fun adventure. No real mods planned,,,yet!
