Rubicon 20th Anniversary Edition Discussion

Had to get a pic of this. Have been slow on the break in process.

So, new to the forum and new to shopping for a Jeep!

Yep, the mighty 392 is going to be my first lol

I am curious, who here has brave enough to get the Punk'n exterior, with the black/red 20th interior?? I really love the orange color - and have found one some distance away - but the 20th interior gives me pause....

I was hesitant too, but the red interior is growing on me. You really don't notice the red much unless you open the door. And when your inside it doesn't seem to clash in my brain.

Ugh, exterior is money!!!

How do you find the red in there? not too hard on the eyes against the orange??
Not so much, certainly not as bad as I thought. If I had my druthers I woulda got the black interior. But I love the Punkn and will put up with a little color clash to have it. When you see the interior there isn't much orange showing so it's not bad.

am i correct in my researching this that, worst case scenario, there are aftermarket options for seat and dash replacements with different colors?

is the quality of those types of things very similar to OEM?

I think there is probably only one option out there if you want to have the logo stitched into the different color seat covers, Katzkin. I've never used them so I can't comment on the quality. You could probably find a high end upholsterer but I'm guessing that would be more bucks.

thanks appreciate it - it turns out it's a moot point, as I just found out they sold the 392!!!

so, on a different note - how many here happen to have a Hydro Blue 20A??

how do you like the blue/red combo??

I had one with my name on the window sticker on the dealer lot and let it go in favor of buying a ‘24 in Hydro.

I personally love the red and Hydro color combo of the 20A, but the rest of my family weren’t nearly as fond of it as I was.

I can post some pictures if you want, although I’m guessing that you’ve probably already seen pics of that color combo.

That’s a bit of my issue as well….the spousal approval is proving to be really difficult to come by right now lol

Well, the '24 has the new bigger screen for the head unit, power seats and the full float rear axle, but those are pretty much the only differences.

The 20A has the black & red seats (nicer looking I think but not power) and it already has the '24 grille. I'd speculate that the 20A will hold their value due to rarity maybe better than a standard '24, but you can never really know what the market will be for anything in 5 years.

I'd say it's a toss up, but as others have said, bird in the hand. You never know when/if they will pull the plug and simply stop producing these with the V8 at all so it is possible that a '24 is not a certainty unless you already have a confirmed order in the pipeline.

How would shutdown actually work? Even if you have a confirmed dealer order, unless your Jeep is actually in a production status you are SOL?

When they go on strike, unless your Jeep has left the plant on a truck before it happens, everything will stop. Then you wait until the strike is over......however long that takes....with the new Union President asking for a 40% pay increase , 32 hour work week, more health and retirement benefits, etc, etc, etc,,,,,the Vegas bet is a strike.

Depreciated??

Has anyone seen a 20a for sale under MSRP?

looking back through previous posts on this thread, i thought it was interesting how the climate seems to have changed from earlier this summer.

I was shopping around a bit, trying to figure out whether to go with a '23, 20th, or a '24 - and had a couple different dealers quote me below MSRP on their 20th....I guess the '24 MY (and maybe the economy) has cooled the market some
