Rubicon 20th Anniversary Edition Discussion

Used a level to make sure I was accurate, both front and rear dimension from the ground to the bottom edge of the fender flare are both dead on 41.5 inches.
Thanks ! You have a K I L L E R ride !

Pretty darn happy with this. Have a list of mods to do. Not going crazy but some functional and some convenience. I know what people mean now when they say they are grinning the whole time they drive it.........

41.5 really awesome! My stock XR with an extra 130 lbs addons (rock sliders and rear cargo stuff) after a year of purchase, at 30-32 psi, rear is 40.25” from floor to bottom of fender flare cross center hub. No winch and removed front bumper end caps. The front is 40.15”.

I remember the non-392 XR reported by a JL forum member was nearly 41”, this indeed proves the 20A is 1/2” taller. Really interested where does this extra height come from, please let us know if you find out.

Picked up the 20th today. Finally arrived and it’s in great shape. Had a cool break in drive back home through the mountains. Looking forward to seeing what this thing can do!

As stated previously here on this forum, I had a few issues when my 20A arrived and originally passed on mine however my dealer ended up taking “VERY” good care of me in every capacity. ALL of the issues my 20A had upon arrival were corrected properly and professionally - The Beast is currently sitting in my garage for the last week or so - Can not be happier with this Beast! ✌️ Love it❤️

Wow! This is great news! Glad they made it right for you.

Finally arrived but now I have to make a decision should I get this or switch to 2024:mad:
Well, the '24 has the new bigger screen for the head unit, power seats and the full float rear axle, but those are pretty much the only differences.

The 20A has the black & red seats (nicer looking I think but not power) and it already has the '24 grille. I'd speculate that the 20A will hold their value due to rarity maybe better than a standard '24, but you can never really know what the market will be for anything in 5 years.

I'd say it's a toss up, but as others have said, bird in the hand. You never know when/if they will pull the plug and simply stop producing these with the V8 at all so it is possible that a '24 is not a certainty unless you already have a confirmed order in the pipeline.

Anyone know what this is for?

I think it’s to cover the center top electronic stuff on the windshield if you put the windshield down.
