I went to local Jeep dealer today to order 392 Rubicon with xr package?
XR package was not available on his screen to order?
Plus the 392 and a couple of other models were in "Red" instead of the typical green color, he was concerned about that?
He has a call into his rep, but no answer yet.

Anyone know anything about this?

Not sure what the red vs green means.

XR package has not been available on 392 since September. For MY 23 it was available from June until beginning of September. Nobody knows if it's coming back for MY23 or not. So I'm not saying it won't, but don't count on it either.

4.56 gears are only available as part of the (not available) XR package.

Heard that for some reason on the new orders for "23" they've stopped Hydro Blue, Sarge Green, and Red. Don't know if this is still going on or not. You can pull them up for the order but when it comes time to officially put them in it's a no-go.

Yep. I think the jeep site still lets you spec like that (even if can’t be ordered) since hypothetically one exactly like that build/color could be new on a lot somewhere already.

Interesting about those colors. I gave up a Sarge XR. Watch as my foot raises up and kicks my own ass.

Tank, if you can’t get what you want in terms of gears and what not, you could get a nonXR and send it off to a place like AEV. It’s not cheap, but arguably a cooler rig (imo) than a straight up factory XR.

I’m not really even a big fan of black paint, but this is one done by AEV and it just straight up kicks ass.

I personally feel it’s a little odd to send an XR to them, but if I got a nonXR I’d send it off to them in a second.

Not gonna lie, I’m a few drinks in on the night and my brain‘s starting to tell me to get a black nonXR and get that build.

Ok. Finally the tracker shows something. Dealer has communicated a Friday ship date 11/11/22 and the tracker never had a vin or showed D1 Until today. Not excited yet, but getting there. Ordered 7/12.

Thanks. Who knows. We will see. 12/31 delivery date. I hope it ends up here in the middle of December. Should be 15 days or so to Oregon. I know my last couple took 12 & 14 days to California. Not holding my breath.

Nice. I’m in the Bay Area. The wait that kills me is once it arrives in Benicia. It’s a roll of the dice when it will be loaded and sent to ya. Your dealer has the ability to tell you the last point the train passed through. Reach out.

Watching the Tracker mine still shows built but not shipped. I took delivery about 3-weeks ago. Last month of communication came from my Dealer, including when it hit Benicia. But like you say, its a roll of the dice when its trucked outta there. But I would be confident on the Dealer info. Be thankful you've got it on the way. Not only is the XR gone, but I've heard the 392 cannot be ordered with a few rumors it won't be back, unless its the 20th Annv only. Hang in there your getting close!

Agreed. Apparently the had a 20th Ed392 at SEMA. If they come out I may order. Folks are thinking they pulled colors and the XR so what will they replace it with? Time will tell! I see you’re in Nevada. Just came home from Reno I head up monthly to see my daughter at UNR. I love it up there.
