Very, very, very few people got 392s in less than 6 months. Lots of us here had 6, 8, 10+ month waits. The fact that your vehicle was showing "Built" exactly two months after the order was confirmed is... incredible! You're way ahead of the game, but I totally understand that the wait sucks no matter what!

With the vehicle already built, the "typical" wait time before it's delivered is about a month from build day. Hope you get it soon! You're gonna love it

Checked Jeep website this AM, and with my Dealer who is a friend and GM of the dealership. Still showing “order received” and no build date yet…order was confirmed on July 20th. Wonder if because I ordered double doors, or the cigar lighter it’s causing delay? Got to be a parts issue at this point I would think…as we are at 13 weeks, my dealer friend said it would be probably 16 weeks to the dealer door, but that’s not going to happen. It would make a very nice x-max gift

Likely not the doors. I got an order in August 10th with half doors and my dealer told me I'm currently in I (jeeponorder and the online tracker are still saying in production though).

Ordered mine 7/12
Sarge Green XR, tow, half doors, camera.headliner. Black grille. Should have ordered SOT.
dealer provided vin in late August.
received a text last Saturday status changed to D1 with an estimated ship date of 11/09
jeep build tracker, jeeptracker and Jeep Chat still indicate that the status is C.
I don’t know what to believe. I was fine until the dealer reached out and said D1.

Just popped to E status this morning after 21 days in D1. New estimate date of mid December for arrival. Hope to have a nice Christmas present.

Yes, if you talk to your dealer, they should be able to help you out.

Earlier in the process, my dealer let me know I was in D1. If you look at that list mikeC posted, that is specifically better than just D status in theory.

The trackers are saying I'm in production/E, but my dealer yesterday let me know I'm actually in I (post production inspection status).

What is your order date? I ordered on 7/12 and am in perpetual D status.

dral97 is right on the button. Just think of climbing a mountain with several stopping points. Each piece of the climb could be easy or more difficult and especially that is true of time. By the time you get to the build phase you will know these codes in and out. The big step is to go from D to D1 which means the build is scheduled. If you dig into many of these posts you will see people stuck in certain spot for months and some will blow through them in days. It doesn't make any real sense but that is how the bouncing ball rolls.

In my case (as a very impatient person) the bouncing balls sucks.

August 10th order date. The randomness is nerve wracking. I was worried about all of us (but especially me of course lol) after the first batch in June were built that all of us would be stuck. I think some of us seeing movement is a good sign for everyone though. As jd392 said, that D1 status seems to be somewhat of the golden ticket. Some stay in it a bit longer than others, but D1 is a solid ‘ready to move down the line’ indication.

Ds will move back, but I’m not sure D1 moves back ever. Just might stay in it longer. I was D1 for about 2 weeks. I think someone posted recently they were in it for a month.

So i took the advice and called jeep again, told them i needed to talk to a Customer Service mentor.
i was told that they are gathering parts and have no idea of a date to be built. actually, the mentor
was not a big help, i got lucky with the Customer service girl. she was great and even called me back.
So with that being said i still have no freaking idea when i will see my jeep. Good news is she found it
without telling me i was the wrong person on the paperwork, that was a 1st. heading to SEMA maybe
someone there will have a clue. i am at 95 days with a Vin and in D status and no movement. i hope by
end of November.

I think dral97 we are in the same boat here and I suspect (no proof) that the "I" status is that holding tank where the car is awaiting to be picked-up for delivery. I know from previous views that if everything is available to build it takes about two days to go through the process. For Friday people make that 4 days or so. Unfortunately in the "I" status you can't get the build sheet or the window sticker. I hope soon the car is ready to go and you can get your car delivered. I do wish other than the dealership we could see the car go through the codes being built.

I feel all your pain. Ordered back in April, no XR avail. Two months later I'm told now would be a '23, but the good news, the XR was back. Ordered in June and arrived last week. Hang in there, it does happen!

I ordered XR on 9/7. Got VIN within two weeks and currently showing scheduled D1 status. Seems to be moving quickly. Hopefully they are getting ready to push a big run thru that will include some of you guys who have been waiting for months

Ordered 8/12, got a VIN on 8/16 thru the dealer. Tracker is still stuck on order confirmed though, but Crypto Stickers shows it as a real VIN though.
