My Thoughts on the Banks Pedal Monster

Hey I just tried the send and go you asked about…. Worked just fine.

Cool. Thank you for trying that. It's a feature I do use.

What is this strange mysticism you speak of? Send and Go?
Am looking at the Jeep app ( which i regularly use for emote start ) - no “Send and Go” icon/drop down anywhere.

Go to the map on your Uconnect app type in an address or pick a location. There’s an icon on the bottom with a steering wheel and an arrow. If you press that icon it sends that address or location to your Jeep.

When in the app at the top of the location map tap search. Once you find the location you want to go to tap Send and Go. After you get into you Jeep Uconnect will ask you if you want to use the Send and Go location (or something like that). Works great.

Oops. Too slow.

Thanks @Barney392 and @Robr651
Interesting – I’ve been using the app which has a black icon and called Jeep. This function is not available although I can see my service history locate my vehicle and do a remote start on both my 392 and a21 grand Cherokee.
Just downloaded the ” U connect “app, I’m able to see the 392, but it will not load my grand Cherokee. The Uconnect app has a function that you describe, the Jeep app does not. Thanks for the clarification.

It’ll work on the Jeep one too. Scroll down to the bottom of the Home Screen and they’ll be a map. You can send the info to the Jeep from there. It’s just a fancier version of the basic Uconnect App specific to the Jeep brand.

That also worked- thx
The option does not exist for the Grand cherokee, but does for 392.
Wonder why send n go only works for Wrangler.

Weird… I had it on my Ram too and it worked.

Gale Banks dives into Pedal Commander vs. Pedal Monster.

Pretty much sums up why I went with Pedal Monster. I have no significant complaints, works as advertised. Only thing I don't like is that it is kind of bulky, but you can hide it almost entirely with some zip ties.

Got the pedal monster and then found out that my amp power steps utilizes the usb port or some such. I suppose some sort of splitter may be made. I trust splitters for some simple things but not in this case. May return it or sell it.

Rounder - Banks sells an OBD2 splitter for that very purpose. In fact, he mentioned using a splitter in that video. It wouldn't hurt to give them a call and confirm if you are still hesitant. Good luck!

My Jeep made the Banks website! I’m really liking their iDash product.

Jay from Banks here. This is our OBD splitter... Although almost any splitter will do. About 30% of iDash owners also have AMP power steps. They do not conflict. My good friend Eric is AMP's lead mechanical engineer. ;) Here he is installing my steps.

Hi Jay

Trying to get my hand on a pedal monster here in Dubai. The only ones I can find that ship here are on Amazon SKU 64320, 64320C and 64321 rather than 64330 (which is the one I get when I input 392 on the Banks website). Would you know if any of these would work for me?

Rian, unfortunately, the skus that you listed will not work with your 392 as they have different plugs. They will not fit, physically. I'll figure out a way to get one to you. I'll message you directly.

Here is a bypass OBD cable I just purchased from Amazon and used when adding AMP power steps to my 392. I wanted OBD port to be open.
