Wow, Z Auto is listening to their customers with a huge new firmware beta:

This is great! Cars with 392 have more options than Jeep allowed us to have. Now we get some. Sport mode will be great. It appears we might not have hyper mode?

I find the sport mode interesting. Could someone who has this installed do some testing and report back? Measure acceleration difference for example? How much does 0-60 improve? It sounds like the engine responds faster like off-road plus but the shift points stay normal?

Yeah, the note in their video saying "this enables the engine part of off-road+" was confusing to me. Isn't that the main feature of enabling off-road+? Why do we need to turn it on via NoLimitz, just press the button.

I installed the new firmware and nothing. I verified it’s on by green light. I pressed cruise cancel for about 10 seconds and nothing happens.

Make sure Cruise control is turned off and that you're on the audio section.

Offroad + seems to also change the shift points.

I believe the Sport Mode is the 392s "hyper mode".

EDITED: JL and JT are excluded from this feature.

Sport mode doesn't enable the shift component of the off-road+

For any beta testers that might have an issue entering the Security mode, like I did:

The manual states the default pin as Set +, Set -, Canc, RES. However the correct pin is Set +, Set -, RES, Canc.

This was confirmed by Z Auto as a typo.

it's for the 4xe

Actually, power mode is for 4xE. Hyperdmode is for non Jeep vehicles, like the challenger.
