They're telling you to think bout the head gasket? They should be telling you what it is and finding the problem.

Sorry you're going through this.

Thanks! just hoping it doesn't happen again

That’s 😵‍💫🍿crazy just doesn’t make sense.

Any pictures of hose ? Just can’t see one going in 250 miles. Dealer mechanic probably forgot to snap the clamp on it.

Scroll up this thread, several of us have replaced with a silicone 90 from Amazon.

Cut it to size, only need to grab to slightly larger clamps because OD is a C-hair bigger

has anyone had one of these hoses just "leak" and not have a total rupture? I just got out of a meeting and there is a sizable coolant puddle under the jeep, and it LOOKS to be coming from front middle of the motor, BUT I couldn't see anything initially when looking. Made a short drive, and stopped.... no leak that time, but dealer said bring it in tonight so they can look at it tomorrow or Saturday...

I haven’t had an actual leak but I can smell the antifreeze when I stand in front of the Jeep. I already have a replacement hose ready…assuming it’s the one everyone else has had to replace.

Replaced my hose last weekend. It hadn't failed yet and looked fine, until I got it out and could get a good look at it. It is obvious that the hose was ballooning out. The braid on the hose that is usually loose was so tight it couldn't be moved. This hose came from the factory on my 2022. If you look at the part number you will see the same number that you will receive today as a replacement.

I think what some are doing is best, just replacing the elbow with a 5/8" silicone hose. You will also need a couple of hose clamps as the silicone hose has a larger outside diameter as the original. There's a ton of these on Amazon.

so funny story... I just got the call from the dealer, and I need a new radiator, it's cracked. I have only had the leak ONCE, BUT I've been smelling the anti freeze smell for months. I figured it was just something odd with the jeep, since I've never had a coolant leak (oil yes), and I'm always looking to see if there is something.

Oh and go figure per the service writer there are no 392 radiators on the ground right now. He did say there are a few "in Transit", so now I'm calling Jeep cust care to see if I can sweet talk them into earmarking one of them for me. Fingers crossed. I've gotten spoild driving the 392 over my CJ7 LMAO (it was a COLD ride in today)

I've been noticing a faint coolant smell recently around the front of the vehicle. I'm nearing 15k, was really hoping the 24 model year wasn't going to have this issue. Maybe it's something else, but I just ordered the silicone hose anyways. Been riding with the stock replacement for months but reading stocks are failing too, not going to risk it. For good measure, I'm going to have a pressure test done to rule out something else.

Yep, I've been smelliing coolant for months, but never saw any indication of a leak, was always worried it would be the overflow bottle on the firewall.... but it was the radiator. So good luck (mine is a 2024 with just over 25,500 miles)
