For the OP, when mine went down it was close to 8 weeks she was out of commission, supply chain and getting all the parts in. I fully inderstand how you feel, when they said needs a new engine I about died, a Fred Sanford heart attack moment. But I’ll tell you now, that was a blip in time and everything worked out far better than expected. I was worried about scratches to the paint, misalignments, broken or missing tie straps, grease/oil in the cab, all those things. I’ve looked everywhere and you can’t tell a thing, she looks and runs great. I drive her as she is meant to be driven and smile every moment of it. You’ll feel better once you are back in the driver seat, and you’ve surpassed the mileage of the prior engine, and don’t forget to break-in again. It’ll all be in the past (kind of like a bad time with the parent or kid) as you cruise along with a big grin. I did get the extended warranty just in case though.
