So I really love the XR wheels.. but imo it needs slightly more offset. Less than what a 1.75" spacer is going to give me (and I dont want to run spacers)
Im ordering 37 KM3s and have been toying with the idea of changing the wheels while Im at it.
Will stay with a 17" wheel.

Lets see some pictures of aftermarket wheels with offset/size !

when I am in this situation I use spacers until I get to the point I get to the look I like. I have 1.25 spacers and then .25 shim spacers. When the JL/JT's came out I played with this for hours and hours.

I too like that wheel, if you like that wheel then I suggest the AEV Borah's. Here is an actual test set that I ran that are for sale in Onyx. They have less than 1000 test hours on them. They also come in Black. Fuel makes several wheels with this same look. 17x8.5 wide

They are for sale on AEV Classifieds for $1500 with the trim rings, new they are now $449. I will honor that price for this thread since its still posted

I'm with you. I live both versions of 392 wheels but they need more offset and 1.75 is probably too much.

Maxxis Rzr M/T 35"-12.5"-17" tires on Raceline Ryno 17"x9," - 12mm offset

Hi. You have my exact build! Will 37's fit without changing the wheels or adding spacers? Or will the tires rub on the lower control arms like on a non-XR 392?

What is the purpose of adding more offset? I see a lot of jeeps around here that look like they are on skateboard wheels.

I think the XR looks just right with the 35s and 37s.

Just slightly more aggressive. I dont want anything sticking way out.. even with the fender flares on the XR is ideal for me. I dont like them tucked in. Comes down to personal preference I guess.

0 offset is one half inch further out from factory (depending on the width of the wheel) and -12 is just under an inch... so its not crazy.

I think it kind of depends what tire you go with... a smaller tire like BFGs probably wont rub at all... something larger will without offset... and both probably will a little at full flex

Anyone here running Yokohama Geolandar MT G003? Reviews seem real decent on it.. and one of the few tires available in a 37 right now

What do you have?
I'm between the KM3s and Yokohama MT G003. Both are a fairly lightweight tire.. Yokohamas are almost too aggressive... but apparently they're still quiet.

Also have KMC Sync on the way. Keeping the XR wheels in case I don't like them

Will the fit the XR rims without rubbing without having to use spacers?

I’m still not sure I’m sticking with these. Can’t decide if It’s too much blue. Lol. But I threw on some 20”x10” XD Grenades with the blue tint

Would love to go 37s but I feel dealerships are gonna try to blame the tires on anything that goes wrong so warranty’s won’t have to be honored. Probably just my own paranoia. Lol

They may blame it on 37s yeah... Just hoping my dealership doesnt. I just feel its overgeared for 35s .. 37s would be about perfect.

Not 100% sure on that.. but small spacers would give a little more clearance in a few areas

I have, fairly aggressive, 37x12.5R17 Kenda Klever R/T's on my non-XR factory wheels. No spacers. I get absolutely no rubbing at full-lock...left or right. I got the chance to take it off-road for a bit this past weekend and didn't experience any rubbing. Mind you - the off-roading was more like overlanding than rock crawling, but we went over a few technical spots where we had some minor flexing. All good!
