🛠️ What did you do to your Jeep 392 today?

That looks great!. I received the replacement 392 hood badge from All mopar a few days ago but decided to live the first one on. I gorilla glued the corner and you can't tell unless you know. I considered putting in on the right side of the dash by the vent but mocked it up and its way too big for that spot IMHO. I may do the leather dash panels if I ever find them in stock but looking for a smaller 392 badge to put there. The one you used may just work and would be subtle on the black dash panel

Got some blood test results. Looks like she is going to live. Viscosity is on the low end, but not as bad as the TRX. Based on these results, I'd plan on changing oil every 3,000 miles and of course, 6 months, whichever comes sooner. Using recommended oil (Pennzoil Ultra SRT 0/40) and SRT 041 filter:

I like them too. I didn’t like the ones in the V6 (not red it had brown leather) which is why I was intent on the leather

I thought about that hood badge but measured the one on the hood and it looked too big for the space on the rear panel so I went with the 392/Hemi one - 68216931AA - from the black emblem Scat Pack. It's a little narrower and an added plus is the Scat Pack one is an identical match to the Granite of the Jeep.

I ordered the right side mopar 392 badge and put it on toda and it looks pretty darn good.

I ordered the right side mopar 392 badge and put it on toda and it looks pretty darn good.

Use a heat gun if in a couple of days the outside of the emblem starts to lift, do to curve in panel. Solved my issue.

A fluid does not need to be approved by the manufacturer to still be suitable for use and maintain warranty. You are protected under the Magnusson Moss Warranty Act. Which to put in simple terms and relevant to the question, states that as long as a fluid satisfies the specification set by the manufacturer then it will not void your warranty unless they can prove without a doubt that the fluid caused the failure. Which at the end of the day, oil is not there to cause damage.
We have tested our Signature Series 0W-40 Synthetic Motor Oil, product code AZF, against the MS-12633 specification and it does satisfy the parameters set out by that specification. So there is no concern for warranty.

Finally had time to install oem TRX hood lights. Pretty simple install, just trim the TRX hood scoop to clear the hydro guide then use black panel bond epoxy to bond the trimmed TRX to the back of the Jeeps hood scoop. Route the light harness along the windshield washer hose, fix a conector and tap into the drivers side front marker light. View attachment 19542View attachment 19541

Installed a 1" teraflex spacer lift in the front this weekend to recover the .5" I lost from the weight of my winch and level the 392 out a bit. Didn't take any pics since the difference is negligible on film, but can grab some if folks are interested.

Install was very easy, just needed to unbolt the sway bar links, lower track bar bolt, lower shock bolts, brake line brackets, and unplug the diff sensor to get the droop I needed to get the springs out. Took about 2 hours with a buddy, could be done in under an hour with less beer and bullshitting involved!

I personally rest my elbow more towards the edge. Suppose if you’re comfort “setting” is elbow more toward the center, it may not be a great option.

I spent the last couple of weeks installing new parts:
Rock jock control arms, track bars, brackets and sway bars.
Rock Crawler 2.5” coils
Bilstein shocks (rears on BO)
King front hydraulic bumps
Teraflex rear bumpers with sumo springs
Teraflex alpha tire carrier
Next Venture front and rear bumpers
Steer smarts tie rod / drag link
Fox ats stabilizer and high mount
Some other miscellaneous pieces.

Still have to install the winch, NVM skids, rear parking sensors, rear shocks (using Teraflex 2” extensions now) switch pros and lights.

Gears scheduled for 5/3 at shop.

First Jeep and lift but I did have an old 66 Bronco I lifted and wheeled a lot. All the parts are pretty straightforward but the pros can tune the suspension and I feel with the amount of adjustability I am lacking in that.

I also have a million or so check engine codes to go through!

I had already installed the RSE steps and Magnaflow RC.
