🛠️ What did you do to your Jeep 392 today?

Thanks for the feedback! I only did a bit of back of the envelope math and maybe tossed in some wishful thinking.

From their site:

Energy Consumption 12VDC (Ambient@90F, Internal@39F), [Ah/h] 1.43

Maximum DC input Ah/h: 9.6

So somewhere between 1.43 and 9.6. If I average those two, I get 5.5a. 46a/5.5a = 8.34 hours. If I use their math above to maintain 39F, I can run purely off the batteries for ~32 hours. I have this unit at home and it doesn't take that much power to maintain a chill since, first and foremost, it's a cooler. If you have to start from room temp, I can see it taking a lot of power to cool to 0F. I also have a set of Yeti icepacks that I toss in to help as "cold batteries"

If I'm being totally honest with my motivations, I wanted an electrical project to mess around with. :)
I also wanted to experiment. I used a geneverse (similar to Jackery) 1000 WH battery that I think is overrated and a Dometic CFX3 45. At the time I did not have the means to track watts used so I kept track of percentage of battery used in 24 or 48 hour periods while the cooler was in my air conditioned house at 75 degrees. The lid was never opened. I found I used about 1 ah/h to keep the cooler at 34 degrees. So considering you are using the 75 which should use more energy than my 45 I think we found very similar results.

Ramos, any update on the coil packs? Sill holding up? Still no issues? Failures? Or solid and recommend?
Sorry boss for the delay I was extremely busy and I was deployed overseas. They still working without any issues. Also I got the computer unlocked by HP tuner and installed at tune and I love have my engine running on all 8 cylinders all the time.

Installed a MRT Street Race H pipe this am. I LOVE it, sweet sound! And still quiet when in quiet mode.

Clayton Off Road performance springs going on the Jeep Sunday.
Never liked the spongy Rubicon springs. I like a more firmer ride and
not the floaty " I feel like I'm driving a Cadillac" Jeep.

Clayton should sponsor this site for all the springs us members are buying! I just bought a set and am installing them now.
👍🏻👍🏻
I’m hoping it helps a little on the loose floating front steering. It feels like it’s gotten worse with 6700 miles on the OD. Next is the Synergy track bar brace.

My 392 finally arrived this week! I’ve already done a few simple mods like antenna, steps, some inside storage. I love it already! Next is iPhone holder.

Congrats!
Love that color blue.
That would have been my next choice if I didn't like red so much. LOL

I have been between 67 and bullet point. I was looking at the MagSafe mount but they are sold out right now.
I have bullet point and it has been great. I think both systems are very similar or the same. Apparently 67 is made in USA and bullet is not. They are so much alike I feel that they are made in the same place.

Weathertech makes a simple iPhone holder that fit in cup holder. Works great for me.

Just wrapped up paint correction and ceramic coating on my Sarge 392. I did the Adam’s Polishes Advanced Graphene Ceramic coating.

I had a lot of scratches from Offroading, most cleaned up nicely! Very happy with the results.

Completed the switch pros / all associated wiring. Pretty cool using the trigger to turn on reverse lights and also have a switch for them.

Also finally finished the parking sensors in the rear bumper. Man what a pita!

Also drove it to MOORE expo over landing show in Springfield, MO. We do not have plans to over land but the show was cool. Also they had a turn by turn rally and we went from SMORE to MOORE. I think 75ish steps instructions with mileage, time and route trivia to record. It was a blast!

So many amazing vendors in the Jeep culture two of our favorites from the show were Milestar their rep was awesome to talk to and Midland. We met 7 different people from Midland radios and every single one was fantastic! Can’t say enough about those folks.

Enjoy!

For anyone who’s interested, I got these numbers on my stock 392 XR, the caster angles do seem low, will get the longer Mopar LCAs to have a better ride. It’s been totally great on highway. I’d imagine it’ll track even better with the 1/4” extra length of lower LCAs.

I put on the lower LCA’s and it definitely made a difference. Best $60 mod ;)
