What did you do to your Jeep 392 today?

Yeah it’ll get about 1700mi on the drive home, then probably around 3k/yr after that, so it’ll balance out 😎

One thing I haven’t heard many people talk about that has impressed me significantly is how good the adaptive cruise control pairs with the 392. Pick a speed, let it fly, it brakes and accelerates in a perfectly spirited fashion when it needs to, and otherwise does an excellent job of keeping a really reasonably-paced cruise! Maybe it’s just because I’m coming from a JK, but damn this thing is amazing, and even though I didn’t give a second thought to the more modern features when I ordered, I’m amped that they’re there, and that they work so well. I’m super super pleased with how awesome it is to drive, and how it handles!
I drove my 22 392 from Idaho to Texas adding 1862 miles and I was super impress how good this new Jeep behave on the road. I sold my 2019 Supercharged JL with TeraFlex lift kit and Falcon 3.3 shocks and this baby handle way better. I love it.

Do you have the XR shocks or the non XR Fox shocks on your 392? Curious as I had an eco diesel with a similar teraflex lift with falcon 3.3s that I loved the adjustability of on the shocks. Appreciate your input as I’m excited for my 392 on order.

Non XR. I am planning to add the Falcon 3.3 again after I finish installing the side steps, rear bumper, tire carrier/hinge reinforcement, aFe Headers and get my ECM unlock so I can play with my HP Tuner.

So far with the very little time I have, I was able to install the ADD front bumper, Superwinch, 20" Rigid Light, Hood struts and the KC 6" Slimlite lights.

Nice my man, appreciate the feedback.

Finished up a Hemifever remote tune with the Diablosport i3 (have had the standard Diablo tune on 93 octane for a while previous to this). Feels as powerful as ever. Highly recommend Sean and team. I have no comparison to any other available tuner or dyno results, however I like how it feels. If you wanna get wild, get an unlocked PCM and find a tuner. It’ll put a smile on ya face.

hey @ameldorf - curious what you’ve gained in HP/Torque or fuel economy/loss? I’ve been thinking about these things but not 100% sure on them

Finally got around today to doing a proper pretensioning on the winch rope from my winch install a couple weeks back and also installed the last few of my accessories from the long list of mods/accessories I decided on (at at least for now. . . ha ha). Installed a Tufffy Console Locker, the Sukemichi Locking Hood Latches from Amazon, and a set of Advanced Wheel Locks. I got the locking hood latches back before I decided instead on the Lasfit Stealth Hood Latch I previously installed and posted about and was going to return them, but since I had them anyway decided to go ahead and install them. I think they could be broken or pried open without a terrible amount of effort but thinking maybe they'll provide a small level of visual deterrent to the more small-time potential vandal/thief.

@ameldorf - I have been wanting to do this as well. How was the install?
Not terrible. The worst part is mounting the controller under the dash. It’s tight and you have to contort a bit. Controller worked well IMO. I picked up a travel trailer that’s 2350 dry weight this morning and it towed great with gain set on 3.

No idea. I’ve not dynoed it. I also haven’t paid attention to mileage other than the dash reads not good. I’ve never calculated it either.

More like what I am doing to the 392. Just started a new project for additional backup lighting. I have been happy with my other Baja Designs lights so I chose the S1 wide cornering to fit into the reflector location. I am doing the engineering as I go but planning on a spacer, carbon fiber bezel, just started. Not sure if I will wire to backup lights, tow harness, or a switch, depends on how bright they are. Will update as I progress.
Update, bezels co.ete and cleared.

Finished with the front and rear bumpers LED lights and installed the aFe ceramic coated headers.
How was the header install? Been thinking of doing this. Doesn’t appear too bad with inner fenders out.
