Had the KC Titan Gravity lightbar installed on the Motobilt mount painted to match the Jeep. Thanks to @jeepguru for sorting out a good deal for me and @Ransom for talking me into it
Looks really nice and lights are very bright with long throw. Haven't taken it out to the desert yet for a proper night drive and might get rid of some of the BD lights depending on how it works out.
Also got some new shoes - Geolandar G016 X-AT 37/13.5/R17. Must say I really like the look and how it fills out the wheel well. The gap above the wheels with the 35s always bugged me. Gap now reduced by about 1.5". The tires stand at just shy of 36" under load at 35 psi
A bit worried about the added weight from the tires but will be taking it out to the sand tomorrow to see how much power I've lost. Hoping the v8 is enough for me to keep up with others. The other tire option I had was the BFG KO2 - much lighter but not as much grip in sand.
Had to push the Teraflex tire carrier out further than I'd like to make the spare fit with the bumper. Not sure if the gap at the back is an issue - the bolts are done all the way and the wheel is sitting flush with the carrier but still not crazy about that gap. A new rear bumper may be in my future..
At full lock the tires come pretty close to the front fender flare, might need to do a fender chop if I feel rubbing while offroad.
Next steps are steering upgrades I believe - Apex kit or PSC pump - haven't zeroed in on one yet. And probably tie rod and drag link upgrade. It never stops lol

Your spare should have better adjustment on the Teraflex carrier. I have a 38” tire and it sits flush up against the tailgate with the same setup and stock bumper.View attachment 47922

He needs to use the adjustment in the Teraflex carrier to a higher position for the tire, then it can be sucked in closer to the tailgate.

Got the Currie HD60 installed in the front with Metalcloak ball joints. For whatever reason the front kicked my ass. Between pressing out and pressing in ball joints to grinding the stabilizer mount for the PSC ram(seemed easiest way to mount), it seemed like it took forever. Metalcloak tie rod doesnt work due to no clearance. Steersmarts YETI should be here tomorrow. Driveshaft should be here next week.

Nice @Riad, looks really good. You'll be fine on the 37's even with the added weight.
I run the BFG's and they do just fine in the sand, plenty of grip. After the 35's on the JK, 37's and a 392 feels like cheating in the dunes. I didn't think the 37's would make such a big difference, but they do.
Love that Gravity Light Bar. You could leverage the BD lights to give you the right lighting in Zone 3, and then the gravity lightbar to push the top end of zone 3 so you have full coverage in the front of the car. You'd have to play with it on a dark night in the desert to see what works.

Yes, did a short drive in Sweihan over the weekend and it was all fine. No big issues caused by the 37s thankfully - a slight loss of power but nothing major. Still able to climb all the big dunes which was what I was worried about
Going for a night drive tomorrow evening and will dial the lighting in
Will probably also do the adjustment to the tire carrier tomorrow if I can find an extra pair of hands to help me get the tire back on after

Happy to report back - definitely reduced road noise and heat. Drove for 2.5 hrs at ~75 mph for at least 2 hrs of that. Loving it! On the trail in 4 low, the heat wasn't there at my right leg - again very happy with the outcome.
Armorlite flooring installed - full kit. Great rainy afternoon project! Took my time... Only lost two clips.

Nice job, and glad to hear that they really reduce the road noise. I have a full set waiting to be installed along with the Hothead Headliners sound deadening kit. I'm waiting for the first few weeks of winter out here to install this setup.
I really like the Quadratec Dead Pedal, looks great with the whole kit.

had some vibes after AEV lift so i put adams front driveshaft in and had tires re balanced. and had rocker guards thrown on while it was in the shop. so far, so good.

I installed a spare tire skid plate on my 392. Installation was pretty easy, LOL. It can be adjusted farther out if needed and appears to be pretty stout, so we'll see how it works.

For today, I applied a sticker to my dash. It was my very last day of work, the legend has retired, LOL. Our clinic manager is a woman that is about 20 years younger than me and is also into off-roading. She knows what I do with my Jeep, so she gave me a great big sticker for the dash of my Jeep as a retirement gift. She also gave me a one-day ticket to attend a class and then drive a Nascar around the Nascar track in Las Vegas. The sticker cracks me up just a bit, so I put it on tonight.
