For today, I applied a sticker to my dash. It was my very last day of work, the legend has retired, LOL. Our clinic manager is a woman that is about 20 years younger than me and is also into off-roading. She knows what I do with my Jeep, so she gave me a great big sticker for the dash of my Jeep as a retirement gift. She also gave me a one-day ticket to attend a class and then drive a Nascar around the Nascar track in Las Vegas. The sticker cracks me up just a bit, so I put it on tonight.

I added a subtle mod to my 392 today. I have an awful lot of sting grey and black color, and nothing to make it stand out except for the gold trim around the 392 and Jeep emblems. So, I decided to add a little more color by adding a little more of the gold accent color. I am NOT a fan of too much accent color, such as when people remove every single part that can be unbolted, like door hinges, hood hinges, differential covers, etc. and paint them an accent color. I wanted something more subtle, so used Underground Graphics grill accent decals in the 392-gold color. I think it turned out just right. It is subtle enough that you don't even notice it initially, but it still dresses it up somewhat. And it even goes well with the gold Metalcloak parts

Did you use their arm mount or did you use the bungee to attach to existing mirror? Reason I ask is that for the life of me I could not remove the wire that attaches to the factory mirror inside the safety group box.

I used the rubber bands/bungees.

If you didn't see, there is a plastic cover on the back side of the arm that hides a wiring connector. That little lock/latch on the connector is a pain, especially since you do not have much room to work in the box, or enough slack to really get it out to work on it..

That was what I struggled with...Could not get the right angle to get it off Felt like I was going to break it....So I ended up using the Bungees and returned the Arm mount.

Got around to chopping up the bumper, installing the HK tabs and the winch.

This was Saturday but this is what I did to my jeep....... Finally took her to one of my many bucket list trails, Rattlesnake Gulch in Utah headed to the falls. I have always taken my group to Toquerville falls in the past but only on the main loop. Trail didn't disappoint although water levels were a bit low as expected.

For anyone else planning to go there, I would suggest at least a rear locker (I know everyone here has both lockers, but more for others in your group) as things are slippery, be prepared to catch control arm and shock brackets. You can pick the right lines, but it doesn't mean you'll be able to stay on them . Nothing too hard there, just a few focus points for sure. I hit my tie rod once slipping off a wet rock, and the frame slid across a boulder here n there. Couple of pinch points as well.

Sounds like a good time. Matt's Off-Road Recovery is always rescuing someone on that trail. I've never done Rattle Snake Gulch, but it is also on my bucket list. Was it a bit warm in St. George in mid-June? Wait a minute, you're from Vegas, so you're used to living where it feels like you are on the surface of the sun. Thanks for the pictures.

I'm also not used to Vegas heat after being here for 4 years. Temps weren't bad, somewhere in the low to mid 90s.

I think the main thing is to stick to the obvious trails going into and out of the water. It's very easy to think it'll be fine to stay in the water and then you hit a pocket.

If you decide to make you're way there.... maybe we could arrange a meetup.

Sounds like a plan. Maybe in September or October? I just need to plan it around our annual run of the Rubicon that we do at that time each year. Want to do the Rubicon?

Since Gorilla Glass sucks ass, and a busted windshield at 4K mi., I had Xpel install their exterior windshield film. We'll see how it holds up.

I installed a 3Wliners cargo mat in my 392 today. It is a great quality cargo mat that fits like a glove. I'm super happy with it. Installation wasn't too difficult either .
