🛠️ What did you do to your Jeep 392 today?

"I" didn't do anything but rig is about done with the shop installs, just a couple pics for updates.

Once back in the country late March, my own install of radio, rear axle shafts, tacs with compressor and spare tire delete will take place.

I would wrap the exhaust with heat shield and move the transfer case oil sight tube away from the exhaust. Mine started to melt after my first jeep trip.

Dirty Dog and I did the Top of the World Trail in Moab, UT today. At least what we could with snow on the ground. Slickrock really is slick when it is underneath a layer of snow.

Put my newly powder coated rings back on. I also removed the front bumper end caps. FedEx delivered my Bestop TrekTop a few days ago, so installing that will be next.

Looks nice! just get yourself some backing plates for the stubby bumper. Cleans up the look and protecs the wiring back there.

Thanks! I have been looking into that and I think I'm going to pull the trigger and order from Utah Design Foundry. Any other vendors I should be considering for this?

I got the Utha design and they worked great. Super easy install. I will say that they supply some plastic tubing to seal the gap bettwen the plate and the bumper...its doesn't stick very well. It was easier for me to install the plates loosly, insert the tubing and then thighen up everything. It was super cold when I installed it so that might have some thing to do with it not sticking.

I got my set for black Friday, and loved them!....Until I was driving over a bridge at about 75mph, and a gust of wind ripped off my front passenger fender completely off, and into the water below
It appears the "L" shaped adhesive bracket to retain the outer side of the fender to the light bracket failed to adhere sufficiently causing significant flapping and ultimately just ripping out the plastic fender clips.

Talk about bad luck.....
Had to order a new pain matched high clearance fender off ReveMoto for about $750 shipped with a 1 month production time estimate.... 1 Month! Patiently awaiting its arrival in the next week or so and will have to come up with a new solution to adhere the new fender to the bracket with absolute retention.

Any suggestions?
