🛠️ What did you do to your Jeep 392 today?

I’ve not experienced binding that I recall. I have had the power steering hot warning towing my camper up curvy mountain roads. Hope to remedy that.

Without lockers on I have more than once not be able to turn the wheel in the rocks I had to back up or move forward..never had that problem in the old LJ

got my aluminum fenders from MOTOBILT finally painted and installed. They came out good and I am happy with the result. I got the lights back from paint also but have not installed them yet. doing the wiring for the BAJAs that are part of them.

Installed Metalcloak rear bumper reinforcements

Went ahead and removed the stock steering gear box and ordered the PSC. Decided i don’t wanna mess with power steering fluid again anytime in the foreseeable future.

Interesting I was originally looking at the kit below but this is a new offering. Curious to hear feedback especially if you are doing any rock crawling and aired down....

I considered that but wanted the belt driven pump to get rid of the elec/hydro pump. Decided to add the gearbox after I started removing the stock system.

Was able to pop the freedom panels out, fit the tube doors on and roll out the full cover to protect from pop up rain showers as needed.

Also removed the mats from the passenger areas since the velcro is garbage and did not hold up very well at all.

Haven’t installed yet. Stuff should be here this week. Just getting ready.

Almost finished the PSC install. Waiting on a sector shaft nut.

Had to go back to the J&L catch can. ABD doesn’t work with the PSC reservoir/vent.
