🛠️ What did you do to your Jeep 392 today?

Cool. Do you have any issue with balancing?

None at all. I just broke the outer bead so the only change was the new lock ring and bolts which are mostly balanced. That was actually a concern of mine because I have never just added rings to wheels without mounting a full tire first.

I bought them as well and they are really well made but they don't work unless I remove the windows as they cover the holes. This is the quick release rear windows though which I am not used to.

Picked up the Mopar brushed pedal covers. It’s the little things that count right? Looking forward to installing these next week when I crawl out of my deep dark hole of work I’ve been in the past few months (I’m a partner at a large accounting firm and we crank this time of year, barely any time to breathe).

Also looking forward to kicking off the wheeling season with the J.E.E.P. Spring Trail Ride at AOAA next weekend, any other PA 392s going?

Yesterday, I installed the Borla S-Type cat back exhaust system for the 392...

Quite a bit louder, and much more aggressive sounding than factory. Quiet mode is still effective, but the tone is better and no one is going to mistake it for a Prius.

I really like my half doors but the paint does not match well.

That stinks seems to be an issue on most specialty colors. Makes sense though as even after a crash if shop uses the same code there’s usually a slight difference. Too bad Jeep doesn’t have them sprayed on the assembly line with the body.

Advantages of white I guess mine match perfectly

Installed a rear light on the camera cover for night runs on the beach surf fishing. I had some extra wire so I left it on so I could pull the camera cover and use it as a flash light to look around under and around the Jeep if I need to for items as we pack up. I used the AUX line 1. Running the wires was trial and error but I really like how clean it ended up. Rock lights are the next project.

I'm on a ground lighting kick for summer. I used to love night wheeling with rock lights on my TJ. They helped a lot. These are more for packing up all the crap around the Jeep when camping or surf fishing. They do have Red, Blue, and Green along with the white so I can go into party mode if I need to.

I like the placement and the fact they aren't very visible from the side. I used Aux 3 because they are low amperage and I wanted to save Aux 2 in case I need it for a higher amp future project. Running the wire through the fender was a little more of a PITA than I expected but a fish and string line did the trick.
