Views from the 392

I know this isn't the most exciting picture but this is my drive home from Orange County to Sacramento in my new to me 392 yesterday. I was and am still all smiles.

Am I the only one who thinks radar detectors are not very useful anymore? So many false alerts, because everything uses radar these days, then most newer equipment are pulsed radar or laser. By the time you get the alert, the cop already has the ticket started.

My Valentine One started alerting to every GM vehicle with the bumper sensors, and they wanted $450 to update it. I just turned it off, and sold it with the JK...
You're not alone. I bailed on my Valentine One a few years ago and haven't looked back.

Sat in my 392 in the garage for a few minutes this morning making 392 noises with my mouth, god I can’t wait for winter to be over.

Yes, the hood is as dusty as it looks.😢

Finally, clean roads the frost heaves are smoothed out and warmer weather is in the forecast and my 392 has broken free of its 156 days of garage captivity. Next is a good deep cleaning, it’s really dusty.

Yup doing the same, Lake Havasu to San Diego.

Moved my mother-in-law's camper in to our little campground in our woods in our bakyard. Wasn't easy and ended up taking about 10 hours over two days. The lane that we had put in wasn't done how I wanted it, so the angles were all wrong and my truck had to go off it in spots and wouldn't keep traction. Also had to hook the 392 to the back and winch it over to clear a tree. Had to use my TJ and winch the truck forward while my cousin had his JK daisy chained to it because it didn't have enough weight on its own. Then built a firewood elevated road to keep the top of the camper of the tree and pulled it all in with the 392.

Needless to say, the camper is there until it rots away because it isn't coming back out. But that was the plan before it all started.

I started this thread because I was pulled over for speeding and kind of as a joke, but I love what it’s turned into. Legit views from the 392. Keep it up!

Drive 75 in DFW will get you ran over. I have always considered myself a fast driver normally going 10-15 mph over the limit. Now people are flying by me left and right.
Age has a lot to do with speed I used to drive much faster than I do now
