Splitting hairs I guess, but remote start works as normal with Ravelco when plugged in. Which defeats the security. Still, if you believe you are in a safe area, you might leave it plugged in. Example, your garage perhaps.

More thread de-railing sorry, You know, having both, 392 is better imo, and I agree it’s funny the times.
More realistic for daily, you get the benefit of the Jeep (adult Lego), and it sounds better too. Still have love for the TRX but I lean more to the Jeep. The best hellcat engine application is the challenger but I’m biased I think, owning one. The TRX is still “super cool” but realism award goes to the Jeep,

May not prevent theft, but it may cause the thieves to return/abandon the Jeep. Just in case anyone else wants to go this route. It's all about decreasing the likelihood, right?

Lonestar came out with the new hard wired GPS tracker, I dont want to get too specific so the theives dont catch wind of this but there is the perfect place to tap 12v power on a 392 that a thief would most likely never find before you find him.
I will give you a hint, order this from quadratec and then pretend you are going camping and where would you put your sleeping bag? Install this there and your all set.
For those of you that have not seen my other posts, I have been using lonestar for 5 plus years to keep million dollar boats from vanishing and we have yet to lose one. We did lose a BMW M8 but the owner did not pay attention to the low battery warning for 30 days prior, not the gps fault in that case.

Mine is a 24. It’s been stoked and recovered + 2 more attempts.
My combo
Igla + drone x2 max + locking hood locks + a steering lock
You get the immobilizer + redundant gps tracking + glass break / tilt sensors + redundant alarm this way. This plus a couple air tags and id be hard pressed to see anyone steal it with any level of success. The Igla independently prevented the additional 2 attempts, drone added after.

Thanks for the advice. I haven't seen any videos yet but ravelco states on their website they haven't had any vehicles stolen . Not sure how true it is. Also its half the price.

Check YouTube. The Igla is the better system. I’ve had someone try to steal it twice since Igla install and it’s remained in my driveway both times.

I had a Tazer on a previous Jeep and reading up on the new features it looks like they may have an anti theft function. It says sonpmething about enabling a sequence of button presses to allow the vehicle to start (or I thought that is what I read)…. Has anyone tried this feature or have thoughts on if it would work?
Also thought about the air tags hidden in the Jeep. Since I plan to drive it with tube doors in summer it will be pretty easy to get into without any effort at all. Hoping that it never happens but want to at least attempt to make it harder.

I thought the settings from the tazer remained in place if you unplug it, I could be wrong it has been a long time since I setup my last Jeep.
But I just went to the instructions and you are exactly right, those features stop working if unplugged. Guess that eliminates it as an anti-theft function…. lol. (Thanks)

Yeah that’s my issue. Even if you lock it in the cage they can get it too.
For context, I’m on the west side in LA, this is a very high theft area for these 392s. And with 1 successful and 2 additional attempts, I’m going for max security with mine.
The “issue” with air tags is if someone with an iPhone is near one that isn’t tied to their account, they let out a chime sound to alert the person they’re near one. Apple did that when people started stalking people by placing air tags on or around them without them knowing. Happens to my air tag when my wife’s in the car haha.

I’d just have the AirTags in there regardless of the notification. Just make it hard to find.
They’ll disable the factory gps quickly. Best idea is adding the drone to the Igla. Then you have their app with cell based gps coverage in a redundant setup to the factory or AirTag.

Wow talk about bad luck "twice". IGLA looks like a great system but IMO those guys on the video seem shady bagging on other products.

Three times. They stole it the first time and I had to fish it out of a gangbangers garage.
The installers are all independent contractors, so idk what video but keep that in mind. I’d call your local guy and see how that call goes
