Hard to believe they still haven’t delivered your 20A while they continue to ship 2024’s - Unacceptable - What are they telling you?

Not much. The dealer sent me an email about 2 weeks ago saying still waiting on it, so at least they are communicating with me. I'm ok until I get to about the 10 month range or so honestly. I'm ok with being patient.

I know the factory is like some odd black box. I remember on my regular 2023, I got a built status and it sat around apparently at the factory for about 2 months for some reason. Then all of a sudden *bam* shipped. So odd.

Got impatient and painted my KC light brackets in Anvil PDS. No clue if it’s going to match since I used a rattle can in the backyard. Guess we’ll see!

Mark Dodge arranged the shipping. They put it on a site out for bid and they got a taker in about an hour, this was yesterday afternoon and when I woke up this morning, the truck was sitting in front of my house ready to unload.

Here it is fresh out of the trailer and straight into the Garage. Shipping from Lake Charles to Tulsa was $650.

Call the dealer to see if it was delivered. I thought I read on here or the JL forum that when that happened, it had been delivered. Might not be 100%, but at least worth a phone call.

Hard to say. The dispatch folks don't do much other than put people together with someone willing to transport your vehicle. If Mark Dodge uses them almost every day, they can't be bad. I know that a transporter was located within an hour of posting, the price was great and they picked it up in the afternoon and had it sitting in front of my house first thing in the morning.

Central Dispatch is just a platform, not the actual shipper. Similar that expedia is a platform, not an airline.
We have a main guy Derrick, and a few others who do it often, utilize the platform to put out bids, evaluate, select, and hand over to customer for final agreement. He has to evaluate the lead time, price, and reputation of the carriers constantly of course.

So while we wait… just a few things I wish they would have kept for 2024 but didn’t:

Dedicated interior dimmer.
Central round vents. Don’t know how they would’ve accomplished it, but it was a trademark of the jeep with round vents.
25 bolt beadlock rings (although those disappeared for ‘23)
Mole panels behind driver and passenger seats.
Trail Rail system.
