Ordered 2023 XR

Yeeeeeeppp.

Here is my timeline. I had a November 12 delivery date that came and passed. TBD now.šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«
Like Blade says.. Don't count on it. Mine has changed at least 3 or 4 times. Now sit-in in KZ status for 6 days and I'm patiently waiting to hear it's on a rail car. "Ok... Not really patient".... It will happen. I just hope we both see our before the end of the year!

Just booked my flight up to Granger to take delivery on Friday. I have been waiting since April and went through 2 VON's (1st one I walked away from non Granger, 2nd being Granger order). I have pretty much exhausted all the 392 clips from youtube so the excitement is real. Time to read through some break in material and get ready for a 14-15ish hour drive back home to San Antonio TX. Below is my timestamps and options to help those who have been waiting and ordered near the same time I did. It was delivered the 16th and paper work was wrapped up yesterday the 21st remotely. Any "break in" feedback from those who drove it long distances upon taking delivery would be great lol, I got about a 900 mile drive home over 2 days.

Looks exactly like my build! Except for the I ordered Lowers only. Post pics when you pick up Friday! I can live vicariously through you until mine arrives. "not on a train yet. Sitting in Belvidere for some reason... Good luck picking up!

Nice choice lol! Will def post pics when I get it on Friday as I have done the same watching everyone else’s pics when they take delivery. Hoping you get that update/call any day now that yours is ready for pick up and thanks!

I got lucky and found a new 392 with XR, in black at a dealer in my state. Ordered in for a customer and they ended up backing out. Only thing I was unsure about was the option of the Sky One-Touch roof? But after hearing the XR package is no longer available to order and the fact this most likely is the last year for the 392 in a Wrangler....I pulled the trigger and bought it.
So far, I'm glad it had the roof option, I really like it. I did some research and if roof becomes an issue down the road, I can always switch to hard or soft top, with minor trim pieces.
Love the Jeep so far. It only had 13 miles on it, so break-in period was challenging. Just at 200 miles so far.

Congratulations! Looks amazing in black.

Today is 19 weeks, or almost 5 months! No way it will be here in time to pull Santa’s sleigh :(

The GM at my store is trying to reach his factory rep still, seems he is dodging calls. Anyone else get some Factory level intel yet?

Not sure if it’s just the angle you took that pic but looks like larger than 35ā€ tires. If that’s 35’s, then I can’t wait till my XR arrives cuz yours looks awesome!!!

AZ392,
I'm in the same boat, been in D1 (or regress to D) for 122 days...no updates but have reached out to the factory rep and don't get anything. Other than the comment that all the high performance cars/trucks are taking longer....but doesn't make me feel any better.

Hope our rides starting moving soon šŸ¤ž

Went on Jeep web site today, XR package is still available on build site.
They know it's done for 2023???

The configurator is for custom orders but also just as an indicator about what could be out there already on dealer lots. Hypothetically I could build one with XR on the website then inquire about ones on dealer lots (opposed to a custom sold order through the dealer).

Since dealers could still have new 23's with XR on their lots (for instance through their allotments or customer orders that people backed out on) a person could go on the site, configure with XR, then click 'search new inventory' to potentially find one on a lot somewhere with XR.

They leave it up for searching inventory. When you do the "See local inventory" that is a way to get a match with one on a lot that may have a 392 with XR package. Same reason you can still build a 2022 on the website.

Today is 145 days since order, or almost 21 weeks. I did talk with the dealership GM and he got ahold of his Factory Rep. The exact words were ā€œany of the high performance cars/trucks/Jeeps are taking a lot longerā€ Perhaps they are making better margins on the pumping out the less high performance versions and then just sequencing in a few 392’s and Hellcats etc. when they have gaps in regular line production…total guess there!

Just out of curiosity, today I went on Jeep site to build a new 392. XR package option has been removed.

Yep, just like last year…it magically disappears…guess no more XR’s for the year. Now at 155 days still status ā€Cā€

I got to 160 days and was about to give up hope when it went to D1 a few days ago. You are close!!! Hang in there.

Stay strong. I hit 161 days in C and just moved to D1 3 days ago. Estimated ship date of 2/3/23. It seems several of us that ordered XRs around that time have moved to D1 together. Hopefully you'll move forward with the next wave!
