Order status and Jeep chat

Holy Toledo!
Received another email from Cryptosticker. I have a sticker. What exactly are they talking about? I sense a lot of excitement at this step. I also see people chatting with Jeep. How do I do this. I don’t want to call the dealer yet. When I ordered on April 14th it was a 5 month wait.
This order is going way too easy. I keep waiting for an email about a screwup. Too many people on this forum have been waiting way too long in my opinion.

Yukon Cornelius damn well better be driving a new Jeep before me! He has more patience than I do.

good rule of thumb is about 15 days from build sheet to window sticker and 30 days from window sticker to dealer. YMMV.

How do you get an eta? I was hoping mine would show up on my birthday which is May 26th but we’ll see. I’m not holding my breath.

I don’t have an ETA yet, just that it’s in shipping, but I rely on my salesman for all info. Seems like anything I ever got from Jeep chat early on was wrong. Dealer has the best info.

Seeing the window sticker makes the Jeep more real!
My God that is a real expensive Jeep! I better go find that money under my mattress and buried in the back yard. Jeep chat was quick and simple. No real info other than getting ready for shipment. Waiting on a train to Denver I reckon. Thanks fo the help sir

Mine is in the nobody knows anything stage of shipping I guess.

Jeep chat used to but now doesn't give you the codes, only your dealer is able to give you those. They can also see a general delivery ETA which may be reasonably close to the actual date it arrives or wildly optimistic. If your salesman says he can't get that info, ask him to talk to his sales manager as they are usually the only ones with the access to the dealership order pages.

An interesting tidbit for those still waiting for their cars: My 392 is in transit from The dealer in Iowa to me in California and it appears that you can use Uconnect to track the vehicle transport progress!

Can you explain more about how to do this?

Sure. When you get your car remotely as I am doing the dealer the dealer has you hook up Uconnect (software/hardware interface tjat comes with the 392) and you remote start the car for the dealer as part of the delivery process. You can also use Uconnect to locate your vehicle at various times and display it on a satellite map-- All part of the FCA/Jeep app. Since my car was picked up in Iowa yesterday afternoon, it has been in Missouri and now is making its way through Kansas and has traveled about 400 miles!

Well yes, that's because it's been activated since you had to purchase it before Granger shipped it to you.

Yes, these are very expensive Jeeps. But dang, I forget all about it every time I start it up (as I walk up to it so I can hear it from the outside) and then open the top and take off. Dang this thing is a stupid amount of fun!

However I have not received a build sheet, when I manually enter my vin on the build sheet link it says no records associated with this vin. Also on crypto it says it found a build sheet but when I click the link it says there’s no build sheet. Dealer also verified it’s been built. Anyone have this issue?

Hmm that's odd. Almost sounds like you're entering your VIN incorrectly or something... however from your username I'm gonna guess you're pretty decent at ctrl+c/ctrl+v and that's not the issue.

I would generally trust jeep chat and dealer over the other tools, so it's good that chat/dealer agree!

Mine did that on Crypto until I capitalized all the letters in the VIN.
