Retired from fire dept/flight medic in Colorado April of 2018...
HATED the cold! Wife & I talked about living by the beach since we were kids in high school.
Always wanted a Hummer and picked one up in 2011. (Actually converted it over to a vegetable oil burner) Easy to work on when working at the firehouse...TONS of maintenance!!!! Got me a 2019 Rubi out here because BEACH time is so much better that wrenching!

Ordered mine in Houston, TX on 11/21/2020 and .... nothing! No change in status, no VIN, nada. Super jealous!

What dealer did you order it from? I ordered mine from the dealer near Greenway Plaza and am in the same boat as you. Although I ordered mine a month after you on 12/21.

I know what you mean about the cold. I'm originally from Colorado but my job had me in Michigan for the past eight years. Retired last fall and moved to Arizona. It's kind-a-like the beach with less water and little impact from hurricanes. Bought a 1969 CJ5 in 1975 and have owned at least one Jeep ever since. Currently have a 2005 LJR and a 2018 TrackHawk.

We definitely had our share of the hurricanes last year. Hope this year will be a bit easier.
Definitely, Once your a Jeep person its all over
My first was a 72 CJ-5 then I stepped into the lap of luxury and picked up an 84 CJ-7...that had a HEATER that WORKED! Thought I’d died and gone to heaven!!!!
Glad you landed in a more gentle climate state

We get remnants of the hurricanes that hit Mexico’s West coast, but it is just rain by the time it gets here. I feel for Snowfighter06 on this forum, he’s somewhere in Southern Michigan I think.
