Exhaust rattle....

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but are you still having this issue? I have a similar problem. No unusual noise until I really get on the accelerator, then I get a similar but not identical noise as in the video OP posted. I’ve only had this Jeep for about a month and a half, and this noise started about a week ago. Also wondering if it’s weather/temperature related as I didn’t hear this when the weather was colder.

It is definitely temp related. Mine does it when it's warm out. Have tried various things to fix it but I'm thinking it has something to do with the gooey shit around the different seals. When it gets warmer maybe it's softening up enough to make contact with metal somewhere.

Bad part is.. even when it's warm.. its not consistent. Works out that when I have help to track it down... it stops doing it.

Thanks for the quick reply. That seems to be how it always goes when I try to fix something myself haha. I’ll update the thread if I have any conclusions or fixes to share.

Hey all,

I've had a random little rattle come up as well in the past month or so. It rattles while in quiet mode, and I hear it usually after a small speedbump and/or letting off the accelerator.....Noise appears to be coming from the rear of the Jeep.

I've gotten under; tried shaking and tapping everything underneath the belly to recreate the noise with no avail.
I read something mentioned earlier about the exhaust baffles being the culprit? Any input is appreciated.
