Does anyone have more miles on their 392 than I do?

Only have 2.4k so far…..mainly because I have it towed to work and back every day….gotta keep that value up

fuel dont matter if you can afford 392 HAHA
26,000, took delivery in May of 21. Just under 1000 miles/month and it’s not my daily driver for work…but I drive it almost every day for something, kids practice, milk, beer etc.

You need to buy beer in bulk. But I have driven the 392 farther than needed to run errands just to get some more time.

Only 4600 on my 22 . Really thinking of letting it go since I don’t drive it much . 🤷‍♀️

I took delivery of my 392XR on March 1, 2022. After eight months, this is my mileage.

Almost 47K miles. Runs great. just oil changes needed. It's a blast to drive. I hope to God the engine lasts another 12-15 years! :)

I'm at 23,000 miles now. I picked her up in May of 22. Been flawless. She is a pavement princess, but I do like to get on it from a stop light. No issues at all. I've literally just done oil changes and tire rotations every 6k.

Will be putting another 2k on her this Thanksgiving driving from Chicago to Atlanta.

I live south of Atlanta. Be careful with your 392. These fools in Atlanta be steeling the hellcats and scats like crazy here. Keep her safe

My wife quit her job at NW Jeep, fucking owners kid is a retard! Now she Door Dashes in it! I said that’s not a good idea and she said she didn’t care. She races around all day long in it. I love flexing on the V6 rubies. Unfortunately the T case has gone out 3 times in the last 4000 miles and two months. She called me crying last week when it went out for the third time!!!! It’s not a Toyota!

Yeah, I know. Always on the look out. They steal them here in Chicago too. I'll be staying in Chattahoochee Hills, so not really going to be around young thugs into scats/hellcats.... the one thing I like though is the Jeep is kind of a sleeper. Most don't know you can get it with a 392.

We are close, about 21k. How the heck are you averaging 20 mpg??? Wow, we are at 11 mpg! Ours is at the dealership for it’s 3 t case in the last two months.
That was from Farmington, NM to my driveway. No stoplights, the last 22 miles is uphill so it could have been a little more. I used cruise control and did the speed limit all the way except when I had to pass slower vehicles, love it when I do that!

Reviving an old thread with an update. On March 1st our 2022 392XR hit three years of total enjoyment. Judging from the previous posts, ThePack392xrAdventures might be the only 392 out there that might beat my mileage in 36 months of ownership. 91,637 miles which averages 30,545 miles a year. Photo taken on 3/1/2025 in my driveway after filling tank approx. 30 miles from home. Average mpg was zeroed out at the station.

That’s awesome. Got mine on 2/6/22. It’s a 22 XR 392 as well. Currently setting at 43k. Really love the Jeep. Not my daily driver otherwise I might have given you some competition for miles. But outstanding to see someone with that kind of miles.

Seems like many of us are driving '22 models. MIne is a '22 as well, just broke 20k miles.

I daily drive to work, 15 minute commute, mostly streets, averaging 12.5mpg.
Took a trip from Tampa to the Keys last summer and averaged 18.5 with mostly highway! 🍻

Are you checking the accuracy of the MPG dash readout by doing some manual calculations at fill-up time? Those dashboard "lie-o-meters" are notorious for reading high. Mine reads about 1 mpg high, but some are much farther off.
Also note that the manual calcualtions can be off, as you can "top off" the tank to somewhat different levels each time. The best way to do it over th course of at least 5 fill-ups. Take your total miles driven in that 5 fill-ups and divide by the total gallons of the 5 fill-ups. Don't re-set the lie-o-meter in between fill-ups. Do a cumulative run for at least 5 tanks, and compare the lie-o-meter to the manual calculations.
