no i connect wirelessly for car play ,but still play music thru the dacyour DAC is an amplifier too, so that explains the increase in volume. When connected via AUX, I assume you lose the CarPlay connectivity, or not?

Because of the issues I was having connecting to CarPlay, I decided to install iOS 26 beta 4 (public v.), and so far my connection issues seem to be resolved with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. In addition, CarPlay seems much more responsive. Still testing of course.I was having the same issue with my iPhone 15 Pro. I recently updated to the iOS 26 Beta and have not had any issues with audio cutting out since.
With that being said, I would not recommend updating to the beta as it has some flaws in its current state.
Yes, it sure is although I use mine in the wired mode.Carplay is full of little annoying bugs and this is not a Jeep only issue. My wife's BMW CP is full of gremlins.
Apple would better focus on fixing their bloat instead of more militant wallpapers and emojis.
