Apps tracking and reporting how you drive your Jeep 392?

... and SiriusXM Guardian Services, which I think I don't subscribe to anyway...
We are connected by Jeep for several years, as a "trial". Check your dashboard under connect.jeep.com

Seems that another feature that would be lost is the vehicle status on the Jeep app and Connect website.

Here's what I see for me under those two categories:
1723836648225.png

Vehicle Performance:
Jeep Off-Road Pages
Remote Software Updates
Trip Report
In-Vehicle Messaging

Safety and Security:
SOS Call
Automatic SOS Call
Assist Call
Vehicle Theft Alert
Roadside Assistance
Jeep Connect Customer Care

I also have a third category all by itself, expiring 02/03/2026, called :

Jeep Off-Road Pages+

Yeah, they got their hooks into me for a while yet.

Would you think any or all of these services would be disabled if I contacted them to stop collecting my data entirely?

P.S. While traveling, I called Jeep Cares thru Android Auto and they knew my name and what I drove.

I find Jeep Off-Road Pages+ useless for me since I've lost my trial Jeep/AT&T cell service. Using the CarPlay apps (OnX, Trails) are much better anyway.

Regarding the rest, I don't know. I guess we need a brave soul to try it. 😉

You are correct, that note is in the manual indeed, but the Wrangler lacks ADAS, so maybe this is some type of a typo?!? Strange.
The person in the thread I mentioned received the warning light in their Jeep, IIRC. If so, that wouldn't be a typo in the manual. I still cannot find that thread though.

Maybe it's one of those Easter Eggs 😀

As we know, we're being tracked every time we get into our Jeep but will this information be used to deny warranty? Toyota refused to honor a warranty claim because the owner had driven 85 miles per hour in his vehicle. I deleted an app installed by my dealer, at time of sale, as he said it was useful for the dealership to remind me of service or recalls. I opened it and it showed my location, miles on Jeep, even how much fuel was in the Jeep. Sirrus radio tracks you constantly. Apple devices including your phone, Car Play and Apple pay all track you. So just how much information does Stellantis pull from apps to administer warranty claims. Is the 392 a target?

There’s also many unknowns regarding that Toyota case. For example, nobody in that story is aware of warranty coverage being out.
Just maintain your vehicle, keep records. And keep in mind, a manufacturer can void warranty if they choose, per their findings and opinion.

Good points and advice.

Don’t know about prior years, but the 2024 models are monitored as hell. Judgmental “hard breaking”, “hard acceleration”, “hard cornering” are noted and available at the connect.jeep.com portal.

We got 392s for a reason, so indulging in pressing the pedal hard once in a while is a sin that we all share. If done in a safe manner I don’t see a problem with that.

It is for this reason why I would rather not trust Stellantis keeping tabs on my Jeep.

My Jeep, my info, my choice. 😀

I'm on that site but cannot find those things there. Can you direct me as to where to click? I have the 2024 model. Thanks.

The info is accessible via the Jeep app on your phone.

Go to "All Trips", where they store all your travel information.

Click on any of the trips and you will see a lot of information, including their ESG (😅) score on your driving.

This info should be available on the connectors.jeep.com under "view your dashboard" I believe, but I can't access that page and get this error instead:

Sheesh, I had no idea this was there. They record seemingly everything about your usage:

Aerial map of each trip. My list as of today extends back to July 14.
Timestamp when you turned on your engine, and location.
Timestamp when you turned off your engine, and location.
Instances of hard braking.
Instances of hard acceleration.
Instances of hard turning.
Driver alerts for speed curfew, boundary, and valet.
Trip data: distance, average speed, top speed, start time, end time, duration, percentage of daytime driving with hrs/minutes, percentage of nighttime driving with hrs/mins, idle duration.
Average mpg.
Total consumption in gallons.

I suppose if I was a parent I might look at this data to see where my kid was going and how well he drove there, but otherwise it seems Jeep is doing the very same to me.

I couldn't find the ESG score, or were you joking? :D

I'm glad a filed that opt-out of sharing this data, assuming it's what it seems to be and is not fake.

The ESG score was a joke, but quite sure it is in our future.

Can any pre 2024 confirm if this info shows for you too, or is it just a new "feature"?

So you don't see an expandable entry of "All Trips" on the Jeep app home page after scrolling down a little bit? I had always overlooked it until now.

Nothing like what you describe. Screen shot?

Here is all the information shown in the Jeep iPhone App. I think this shows on the web as well, but Stellantis doesn't like my WiFi's privacy settings and won't display the page for me.

As you can see Stellantis deemed that had hard accelerated and took a hard turn. Have no idea what their criteria are since I was definitely not driving aggressively.

I really think having all this info is cool, but I'd like to be able to own my own data, be able to ask Stellantis to remove it if I request so, and have the ability to turn this feature on and off as I wish.
