Having the manual not be 392 specific, well its got me questioning what is right and wrong. Even stuff like fluids I have to search the forum to find exactly what I need. Last time I asked a dealer's parts department what I needed I got the filter for a different vehicle and a gasket that didn't work either.

I’ll be curious about this. I have a ‘23 and my transfer case just failed.

My ‘23 failed at about 10k miles.

Nothing yet, I'm at ,3644 on the odometer. This thread had me call my local shop though to check the fluid next week out of caution. I'll be scouting some camping spots in Stampede Pass in two weeks.

Jeep upgraded the 2024 diff sensor that kept getting oil saturation and failing. Some have posted about a programming update on the diff clutches. I hope they did that too. The disks are strong enough if they are not slipped excessively through bad programming.

My shop called, told me the diff was "a little low". I'm glad I had it checked. Easy to do so I recommend it be done for peace of mind.

I believe the up date is for transfer case clutches. We don’t have limited slip differential ( I wish we did ) therefore no clutches.

Good catch. I had diff on my mind due to the diff sensor upgrade, TC clutches hopefully got the programming upgrade.

24 392 here. 10k miles, no problems with t-case

I checked my diffs and TC fluid levels @1.8k mi.
Rear diff - full
Front diff - 1/8 qt low
TC - 3/4 qt full
~10k mi now w no issues.

I did not hit anything and it has never been off-road except for weekend camping trips. I was told the boot tore on the driveshaft which seems to be a common problem from what I have read. All the grease leaked out of the TC because of this and Jeep replaced driveshaft and TC.
