No Scott Blum confirmed 20A are all 23’sWow, I am not pleased about this as a person with a 20A order (with an ADM). Probably going to have to have a discussion with my dealer today. Is there any chance 20A orders slip into 2024 production time period and somehow get this stuff? If there is ventilated seats, I am for sure going to eat my 20A deposit. My back turns into a swamp on the way to work in the summer with the current Jeep seats.
Which makes sense given the ‘03 to ‘23 timeframe…No Scott Blum confirmed 20A are all 23’s
He's confirmed on facebook groups he posts in they won't. They'll have 2023 stuff.Which makes sense given the ‘03 to ‘23 timeframe…
It would just be awesome if those 20A ‘23’s had the new features of the ‘24.
Agreed. This whole 2024 thing seems weird to me. Ya, new features are cool.... but no marketing, the website is still all 2023.... hell you can even look at the 2022 models.
No fanfare, no videos, no event, no announcement.
Weird.
I’m at work, but this is from another thread as the ‘24 392 color choices:Ok, who is at the dealer right now? Some people were practically camping outside the dealership for the 20A somebody must have details by now.![]()
No Bikini Blue, guess I’m saving for that Raptor R in the fall after all.
Thats a lot of the reason I ended up with my 392. Was tired of the ecoboost in my raptor but no way I was paying that kind of $$ for a R.Used Raptor R’s are fetching around $150k on the popular auction sites. High demand and very low supply.
It‘s most likely Ford Motor Company’s last high performance V8 pickup truck. Similar to the Wrangler 392 Ford wanted the ICE Raptor to go out with a bang.
Well said, and I agree on all fronts. The Hellcat engine is the only option that would prompt me to start over. V8 rumble is my happy place, add the whine of the SC, and I'm on cloud 9.I'm still holding out for color or significant engine upgrades. For me it is not an investment or collectible vehicle. I like the big v8 and being able to run in different configurations with doors and tops. If they offer dozer or nacho, I'll be in trouble. If they were to offer a hellcat, I'd have to have one. Short of that, the 392, non xr, xr, anniversary, whatever are very similar and you can always mod the thing to make it whatever you want. We are splitting hairs here I think. The 2012 mid cycle update on the JK was significant mainly because of the engine upgrade. Bells and whistle are nice and the 2021 JL is much nicer than the 2013 JK, but I don't think this 24 is going to be a groundbreaking upgrade. Will see. But then here I am wanting my color or a major engine upgrade.
