DEAL 2022 Wrangler 392 - $6,000 OFF MSRP

DEAL
Just wanted to review my experience at Granger.

Short story: best vehicle purchasing experience I've ever had.

Placed order with 1k deposit. Locked in price 6k under MSRP. Zach sent frequent spreadsheet updates on status. Jackie always responded to emails. Catelyn in finance found me an excellent rate and extended warranty. Brittney picked me up from the airport. Javan welcomed me in the dealership and had me sign in 2 places. Ashleigh took a picture of me and my buddy in the lot getting ready to head 1800 miles home:

Murdered about a million insects along the way (pic in Denver, really liked how the setting sun brings out the olive in the paint):

Fiancee is in as much love with the jeep as I am:

All safe and sound (and clean-ish) in the driveway at the beach!

All I can say is a huge THANK YOU to @zach@granger and his incredible team. You're doing things right my friend. This is the future of automotive sales, and 99.99% of other dealerships are living in the stone age. Can't say enough good things about my experience there. 11/10 will fly back to Iowa for the next Jeep! Please send my sincere thanks to everyone who was so kind to us listed above!
Beautiful Jeep but how the hell do you fit in it? Give this to your fiancee and have Granger order you a TRX, big boy @9k bellow. I'm 6'4 slimmer than you and long distance i'd never drive the 392. Let me tell you a secret , a base TRX ( @71k) is cheaper than the Jeep you just picked up. 392 complements a TRX perfect

I had a brand new 1500 sport around 2011 that I really loved. The extra room and ride quality was super luxurious, and it could actually haul a couple KTMs in it. Really loved that truck for the short time I had it, but ended up trading it for a 2dr rubi JK that became the love of my life.

I'm 6'2, 210lbs, and if I were any taller it would definitely have been a stretch, but I feel pretty dang comfy in this (huge to me) JLU. Plus the seats are *great* for distance for me, even with a long-term back injury. Firm, and just the right angle!

One day, when I live out in the hillcountry/desert again, I'll be thinking about that TRX. But for now, at the beach, this is as big of a vehicle I really need for most of my antics!

So glad to see this, I have one on order from Granger exactly like yours but with the satin black grill. Hearing and seeing reviews like this based off word of mouth are the best to hear. Enjoy your rig my dude.

We're not perfect, but we have a pretty good group of people working for us.

Question for @zach@granger - I am sending a buddy your way who drove my 392 and (needless to say) fell in love. He damn near went and bought one with a markup here in LA, but he's had time to cool off and he's in touch with Jackie now :ROFLMAO:

In the same vein, my fiancee now wants a new little 2dr JL, even if it's not a 392. She's in love with the newer colors, but since I *blew it* not ordering half doors on mine, we definitely want them for the 2dr. Jackie said newer colors have not been confirmed for half-door availability yet, so we can't add them to an order (looking at Earl). Is there a point in the process where these colors will likely become available for half-door ordering? Would you suggest we put in an order and try to add the half-doors once they become available in a couple months (or whatever timeframe) before we hit D1?. Or, is it best to hold off until they can confirm half-doors with the initial build order?

Same question applies to my buddy (with the 392 in the new colors). Do you expect we'll be able to get the new colors with half-doors sooner rather than later?

Unfortunately we just get a 30 day window into availability. When the new allocation month opens, then we get to see what is available for that month in regards to colors, options, etc.

Awesome info, thanks. When does the new allocation month open up each month? I'd love to check back in with Jackie when the next one opens to get that order in for the new 2dr :)

Around the 10th-15th of every month.

Not all 392s, but a bunch of Wranglers ready to head to their new home. All custom ordered from our customers!

Zach,
Does this include a 392 with the Extreme Package?

David
from what i was just told the Extreme package is delayed until they get parts, and no more Extreme package for
anything other than a 392. that is why we are waiting so long for our orders. just my opinion.

I noticed Zach liked your post. Zach does that mean you told him this or that you agree with the opinion? Just wondering what exactly everyone is hearing. I have an XR on order with Granger since June 11th in D status last I heard.

Thanks to anyone who has info on our Granger order status!

Yes, we cannot place new extreme recon orders. Once that commodity is available again they'll have enough capacity to build all of the existing orders. The extreme recon is a hard to get option right now for whatever reason in regards to a commodity. But since you're in D status you should be good.

Indeed, this is like the second or third time they did this with the XR.

I need to squeeze in a couple orders (me + wife) early next year. Hopefully they'll bring the XR for the 392 back for that.

Hi,

My name is Zach and I'm the dealer principal at a CDJR store near Des Moines, Iowa called Granger Motors. We are offering $6000 off MSRP on any retail order for a 2022 Jeep 392 Wrangler. No hooks or gimmicks.

You can email any requests to [email protected] or you can call the store at 515-999-2224 and ask for Amanda.

We can help facilitate pickup from the Des Moines airport. We also will help coordinate transportation if necessary but we'd prefer in person but realize sometimes that's not possible.

We will accept trades and we can help facilitate financing as well.

Just a few quick notes (because I know I'll get asked!)

1 - Our documentation fee is $180.
2 - There are NO mandatory add ons.
3 - There is a Non-Refundable $1000 deposit due at order.
4 - We will get you an electronic signature document with options, pricing, and details for your signature before placing the order.
5 - We do not participate in courtesy deliveries to other dealerships.

I appreciate the opportunity. We've had similar success with this business model on a lower transaction price and higher volume on other lines and would love to help facilitate this as well.

This will not apply to our "Stock Order" units. Just a customer's retail order.

Thanks!

Zach
i was seeing they have discontinued the Xtream Recon package for all Rubicons even the 392 as well as the half doors and the
heavy duty tire carrier and the head liner in the hard top. what happens to people that have had this on order for over 3 months.

As of now, you can't order them. They will fill the existing orders.

What is your time estimate for delivery? What is the deal with the XR package, will it be offered again?
Thanks for the info.

There's no guarantee that the XR will be offered again for 2023.

For referral on timing, we have some 392s that recently arrived and we orderer them in June-August timeframe.
