Ceramic Coating almost done ✅

Where are you located?

I really think you can get it all done PPF and ceramic don for 7k with all the good (high end) product. If you choose to go with stealth them probably $1k more. Stealth is harder to work with and requires really accurate cuts for obvious reasons.

Yes it is way more common to do the front impact areas and ceramic whole car. This will put you in the 4k area
This is a better option unless you are planning on actual using your Jeep on tight trails. Bushes and branches dragging down the sides. I have also seen car washes cause the same type of damage down the sides

I'm right up the way from you (LA area, Manhattan Beach). Honestly would seriously consider coming down to visit you when the time comes (order should come around June/July I'm guessing). I went to SDSU back in the day and still have a lot of friends in your neck of the woods.

The rough thing is I'm gonna feel pretty squeezed to drop an extra 7k immediately after purchasing the 392, and I hear the best time to get it done is when it's new. Good chance I'm just overthinking it, and business will be booming then, and I won't mind. We'll see!

Also, this whole discussion has me thinking maybe it's better to have the jeep shipped when it arrives rather than driving it the 1700 miles home. I was kind of looking forward to a leisurely road trip, but that sounds pretty harsh on the paint. Good thing I saved 6k off MSRP ordering it in Iowa! Haha.

Yes. Bring it down here and leave it with us a week. Will get it all done for you. I am 1.5 hours away. My shops are in north county. Carlsbad, vista and escondido. You will drop bank in that area. I lived in redondo beach beach for a few years and loved the stretch from redondo to marina Del ray. Our family owned a car dealership in Culver City. Anyway, we offer something that no one in our industry has figured out yet😁 you can actually purchase windowfilm. PPF and ceramic coating on our website and when you check out we offer Affirm…… this is a finance option. You can pay in 4 payments OR it will give you finance options up to 36 month at 0%
I set this up 1.5 years ago when I bought my X5. I was thinking I just dropped 10k to get into this car and now I need to do another 7k. So we started the Online purchasing with financing. It’s been a HUGE hit. Plus it’s a soft pull on credit with almost no info. Anyway. This is a great option for you.
By the way….. Hemet Jeep sold me mine for MSRP. Every dealer in SD wanted 25k to 50k over MSRP. I told them they were smoking crack! Also consider the gas cost….. these things are pigs for gas! But fun to drive. I personally drove mine to Vegas and that killed me as far as comfort so 1700 would put my back in a sling😁
I put some store pics so you know we are legit

Funny enough I told the San Diego Jeep dealers the same exact words. I ended up ordering mine from Rydell Jeep in San Fernando for $750 over invoice. I ordered on January 17th and the car is in D1. The dealer said they are expecting the build to be done on the 28th and then shipped.

I've seen your shops driving around town, out of curiosity what do you charge to do 20% tint all around?

Thanks.

Getting polish/paint correction and a 9 year Ceramic Coating. Check out that reflection off the Paint.
Hey great looking 392. What bull bar, fog lights, and fog light covers did you go with? I couldn’t tell the exact brand from just the photos. If you had the part numbers or model numbers, or brand name that would be great. Thank you

Thank you again. I should have asked but forgot to, where you able to use the factory holes? Did the lights and bull bar come with all of the hardware? Or did you just use the factory bolts from the steel bumper? Sorry once again for all of the questions.

Thank you!

Yes factory holes, no drilling needed, and it came with hardware.

are you in villa park IL? I’m also in the Chicago burbs and was looking into ceramic coating, PPF, and tints… where did you go, did you get a fair price, and would you recommend? Thx so much!

Hi Tangobravo:
I have a 2022 392 firecracker red I had Extreme glass & Tint in Addison do a ceramic coat and had the driver and passenger door windows tinted to match the other windows and they went out of there way to make sure they did an awesome job I’m very happy with the work they did and get many compliments and the price was very good hope this info helps you out.

I went down the youtube Xpel PPF and Ceramic Coating rabbit hole last night, and my main takeaway was that:
  1. I really want to PPF and CC the whole damned jeep
  2. That it'll cost me up to 7-10k for this
These were both very conflicting feelings for me.

I did also see that it's pretty common for people to do just high-impact areas (grille, hood, fenders, flares, a-pillar) and that this (at least somewhat) significantly reduces the cost.

I also found a jeep that had done a satin Xpel on the sarge green:

Really rad!
Where did you get the black only Rubicon emblems ? Love the satin

My Sting Gray is in for paint correction and ceramic as I type this. Have had a number of vehicles done with CQuartz at authorized installers over the years.

Skill in paint correction, prep, and application is key to a happy ending. Pic below is of my 2019 Redeye in for the good stuff.

Here is a pic of a 2015 Hellcat I owned. After correction and CQuartz ceramic, always loved how it looks like Predator camo and how the grass reflection ran along the body line.
