I think black and granite crystal really make the gold accents stand out and pop, I'm surprised more people aren't going for them

Black is my favorite color, looks great with the gold accents (Smoky and the Bandit), but is not a good off road color, as every defect will show.... I know because I have had four RAM 1500's all in black and a 2009 Challenger in Black. That's why I bought my 392 in white. BTW, Granite is beautiful too. In fact, if it is a 392, it looks great in every color!!!I think black and granite crystal really make the gold accents stand out and pop, I'm surprised more people aren't going for them
Lucky... can't find red any where. We are getting Sting GrayI ordered Frirecracker Red. When I got my license my first vehicle was a red 91 YJ. It was sold from under me and took years before I could get back into a Wrangler. For the last 12 years I had a black JK Sahara and loved it but black wasn't my first choice. I'm now waiting for my dream Wrangler in my "original" color.
That might be for a good reason. Mine hasn't made any moves. Still in D and never getting out.Lucky... can't find red any where. We are getting Sting Gray
I forgot what D was... I built our 2018 JLUR.. I heard the Sting Gray is in Rail Road.. I guess that means it will be arriving soon.. no idea..That might be for a good reason. Mine hasn't made any moves. Still in D and never getting out.
Sorry. D means it is sitting there waiting for parts to be collected so it can get scheduled to be built. Ordered mine 10/25 with no movement at all. Others ordered in late Dec and already received theirs.I forgot what D was... I built our 2018 JLUR.. I heard the Sting Gray is in Rail Road.. I guess that means it will be arriving soon.. no idea..
We ordered the same day. 10/08. As of today my estimated ship date is 02/08. Let see how that works out.No rhyme or reason, other than perhaps options. I did notice non-XR’s from November and December started moving before the earliest XR’s since the October 8th MY’22 opening up. But still see randoms including XR’s sneaking in way out of order. Not sure which options could be causing that…
Where did you get your Warn logo?
Sorry but I find it very hard to believe "ordered in late Dec and already received". That would be automotive record breaking when we are talking about Jeep during a labor, parts, and transportation shortage.Sorry. I really like the FR, but dang, I live the stereotype: the only vehicles in which I’ve gotten pulled over were all red! The 392 is going to bring out the Mr. Hyde in me, so I went with a tad more discreet Hyrdro Blue!I ordered Firecracker Red. When I got my license my first vehicle was a red 91 YJ. 3-4 weeks? Not possible, unless they live by the plant? Even then, clean production and process is at least 4 weeks.Sorry. Granite. Mine took 13 weeks from factory order date to delivery.3-4 weeks? Not possible, unless they live by the plant? Even then, clean production and process is at least 4 weeks.
everyone has been reporting 8 weeks at best. Mine was 9 weeks and even the dealer was surprised. Many are pushing past 12 weeks. Seems 10 is the average.
I see this pic in the random pics on the forum. I've been considering getting a black grill for my 392. I like it!
I am a bit prejudice because I think it looks cool and blends in to the overall color scheme, especially the area behind the grill. However, a big advantage is since it is not painted but solid black material throughout, rock chips aren't as evident and those that do occur can be diminished with little effort and no paint.I see this pic in the random pics on the forum. December 2020 maybe?Sorry but I find it very hard to believe "ordered in late Dec and already received". That would be automotive record breaking when we are talking about Jeep during a labor, parts, and transportation shortage.
Another advantage is you can buy the black grill now for what it cost to order from the factory and still have the original grill. When I first started exploring that option they were $300 on eBay, now about $385.I am a bit prejudice because I think it looks cool and blends in to the overall color scheme, especially the area behind the grill.
