I think black and granite crystal really make the gold accents stand out and pop, I'm surprised more people aren't going for them

Black is my favorite color, looks great with the gold accents (Smoky and the Bandit), but is not a good off road color, as every defect will show.... I know because I have had four RAM 1500's all in black and a 2009 Challenger in Black. That's why I bought my 392 in white. BTW, Granite is beautiful too. In fact, if it is a 392, it looks great in every color!!!

I ordered Frirecracker Red. When I got my license my first vehicle was a red 91 YJ. It was sold from under me and took years before I could get back into a Wrangler. For the last 12 years I had a black JK Sahara and loved it but black wasn't my first choice. I'm now waiting for my dream Wrangler in my "original" color.
Lucky... can't find red any where. We are getting Sting Gray

That might be for a good reason. Mine hasn't made any moves. Still in D and never getting out.
I forgot what D was... I built our 2018 JLUR.. I heard the Sting Gray is in Rail Road.. I guess that means it will be arriving soon.. no idea..

Sorry. D means it is sitting there waiting for parts to be collected so it can get scheduled to be built. Ordered mine 10/25 with no movement at all. Others ordered in late Dec and already received theirs.

No rhyme or reason, other than perhaps options. I did notice non-XR’s from November and December started moving before the earliest XR’s since the October 8th MY’22 opening up. But still see randoms including XR’s sneaking in way out of order. Not sure which options could be causing that…

We ordered the same day. 10/08. As of today my estimated ship date is 02/08. Let see how that works out.

Sorry but I find it very hard to believe "ordered in late Dec and already received". That would be automotive record breaking when we are talking about Jeep during a labor, parts, and transportation shortage.

Check this out. This was posted in talk forum and has a breakdown of 2021 orders by color.

Mine is Sarge and in charge :). If these numbers are correct, only 80 like mine rolling around. Although truly, Jeeps are like snowflakes. They are all unique (especially after we get done with them). But tough snowflakes......

If these supply chain issues don't get sorted out, vehicles are going to be worth a fortune. On autotrader 2018 GC trackhawks with over 50k miles are on sale for $80k plus. This is more than a very lightly used one was a couple years ago. They have some new ones posted at over $120k. I don't know if people are actually paying these prices, but having a shortage of vehicles is unsettling. Does not speak well for our economy.

I really like the FR, but dang, I live the stereotype: the only vehicles in which I’ve gotten pulled over were all red! The 392 is going to bring out the Mr. Hyde in me, so I went with a tad more discreet Hyrdro Blue! :)

3-4 weeks? Not possible, unless they live by the plant? Even then, clean production and process is at least 4 weeks.
everyone has been reporting 8 weeks at best. Mine was 9 weeks and even the dealer was surprised. Many are pushing past 12 weeks. Seems 10 is the average.

Granite. Mine took 13 weeks from factory order date to delivery.

I see this pic in the random pics on the forum. I've been considering getting a black grill for my 392. I like it!
I am a bit prejudice because I think it looks cool and blends in to the overall color scheme, especially the area behind the grill. However, a big advantage is since it is not painted but solid black material throughout, rock chips aren't as evident and those that do occur can be diminished with little effort and no paint.

December 2020 maybe?:ROFLMAO:

Granite here. I love the granite with the gold/bronze accents. However, if I were to order again, I would do black with xpel stealth. I think that looks awesome! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my granite, and probably benefit from not having to cover every nook and cranny with ppf. I also have the mopar winch mount kit, and don't hate the extensions but definitely not needed.

Another advantage is you can buy the black grill now for what it cost to order from the factory and still have the original grill. When I first started exploring that option they were $300 on eBay, now about $385.

I went with Gobi, ordered mine in Jan. As sarge green and changed the color the second I heard Gobi was back out as a limited time…. Glad I made the change…
