No more XR Package for order…

Ordered 11/19. XR black. No other options except a flat black grille. I guess the freaking grille is is holding me. Still gathering parts.

Sure not the case for many of us. I'm 16 weeks today... Hydro Blue, Sky One Touch, Tow Package, Front Camera, Gorilla Glass, Doors Off Mirror Kit. Not even moved from D.
Do dealerships get so many allocations?

I'm finding no rhyme or reason. If you look at Crypto, they buttoned up all orders up until the first '22 order day (10/8) but then there's a gap for a few days, they start building again, another break, and so on... but rather than filling in the missing gaps, it almost seems they just pick up at the end and screw the earlier orders. For the life of me, I can't fathom a reason that a late January XR order is on its way to the dealer (with sticker) while orders from day 1 are stuck in "D"

My first round (from 11/20/20) I was much more lenient as it was vaporware when announced and open for orders without even a price - and my dealer did say 6 months. Still got screwed on that one and never took delivery, but the new order was "assured" 6-8 weeks. Now, I knew that wasn't realistic in today's climate, but nearing 6 months with no date in site is really, really frustrating.

I think it is combination of available parts and maybe where you are in line with an individual dealer allocation. It definitely isn't FIFO.

I ordered 10/28. Still in D. Yet some orders after mine at same dealer have been delivered. I've seen some who ordered late January already getting deliveries.

I would tend to agree…

I think that dealer allocation (and perhaps even sales volume) must play some sort of role in addition to the ever-present supply chain dynamics.

Has anyone received their 2022 XR 392? If so, what was the lead time?
I picked mine up from dealership yesterday 2/21 - had ordered on 10/15.

I will circle back with additional photos once I pull off all the stickers and badging (though keeping the 392 badging as-is and putting on a blacked out trail rated badge).
I had big plans to do this but now that I have my granite 392 the colors are acceptable to me so not sure.

Don’t worry - I’ll do it for you.

Also going to take off the bumper end caps and perhaps all of the exhaust tips as well ala @supermike.

Would first like to see the full on rear shot of supermike’s 392 as such to make a determination.

Did it to the 2021 JLUR:

Love your debadged Jeep! I especially hate that "Wrangler Unlimited" sticker. Any tips or suggestions on getting rid of that sticker? I've never done any debadging before.

I had used a Dewalt heat gun between 150*-200* for all and then fishing line to “cut” the 3M adhesive behind the trail rated badge. 99% isopropyl to cleanup the minimal leftover adhesive. All worked great, paint was unharmed.

I used my wife’s blow dryer then alcohol to clean up. WD40 works well also.

I was told yes by a salesman. According to what he said, roughly 6 per dealership here in the Phoenix area. All others above that allocation are customer orders.
