Jeep 392 MPG / Gas Mileage thread

You don't buy the Jeep 392 for gas mileage, but I'm a curious as to what everyone seems to be averaging? TFL posted a video showing 18.8mpg over 250 miles. That's impressive!

Not 100% MPG or Gas Mileage related, but just remember to make sure that you are using 91 octane or above when filling up!

Me too with 37s, I’ve accidentally seen 95+ several times so I’m happy with the mpg for now

Okay, so I drove the Jeep I bought from a dealer in Michigan because no dealer within 100 miles of me had allocations. I drove it from Metro Detroit area to Southern Arizona last week. On 93 octane fuel that I could obtain in Michigan and Indiana I got a little over 16 miles per gallon around town prior to and went up to 20MPG enroute on the highway. When I hit states where only 91 octane was available my average dropped to about 15 -16 miles per gallon which were all highway miles. I am looking for Octane Boosters that might help not only with milage but horsepower realization since I am at 4500 feet elevation

I've been averaging 17.7 mpg on my long trips and about 15.8 for city driving. This surprised me, because I'd be lucky to get 15 in my 2015 JKU.

Has anyone put 100 octane or higher in yet? Obviously unleaded. I’m sitting on a 100 gallons of it and I’ve been really tempted to try. Performance yes but minimal, I really just love the smell.

I was able to get close to 20 MPG on my way back to Arizona after picking up my Jeep in Michigan but only in states where I could buy 93 Octane Top Tier Fuel. In states where only 91 Octane was/is available the Jeep dropped to between 15 and 16 MPGs on the higway. Here in Arizona I'm getting about 13 around town and 15 highway, only 91 octane is available here. There is one station here in town that carries 100 octane "Racing Fuel" at $8.88 per gallon but the clerks that work in the store can't tell me if it is leaded or unleaded. The fuel nozzle is an unleaded sized nozzel but the pump does not have a label or any indication that it is actually unleaded like the other pumps at the station.

Maybe you can reach out to the companies customer service number on their website to ask. I'm interested in reading owners' experiences with "rocket fuel."
