What in the actual *uck !?!?

I do not see active braking option on my 23 ?
Go to settings-emergency and "something"-then there is an arrow at the top of that paige that takes you into the page to set it.

I should probably go look at the names of everything but you will see it now that you know its there.

Thanks I’ll look 👀 again

Thanks I’ll look 👀 again
Let me know if you need me to go look at the actual pages to see what they say or to take pictures. Mine was set with both active braking and volume as high as they will go. Now they are off.

Got it thanks

This morning was driving my 392 to work and a car in front of me was turning right, it was 2 car lengths away, the perimeter sensor went off and a second later all four tires locked up and the brake pedal went to the floor. I had a large table saw in the back which came flying forward and luckily there was no one on my ass. This has never happened before, I did some updates to my Tazer mini jl last night and can only imagine something was changed to the ABS system? Has anyone experienced this before?
I turn the braking feature and lane assistance off in my vehicles. I leave the beeps / flashing lights on but that is it. My experience was on the freeway when a small piece of cardboard flew up and blocked the camera. The brakes came on and almost caused a pileup. We also seem to have a never ending cycle of road construction with lanes being regularly changed. The lane departure will sometimes pick up the old lines and try to adjust. The safety features are a good idea for lab scenarios but are really dangerous in the real world. Glad you are alright, stay safe.

I didn't know Jeeps had lane assist. Mine requires 3 lanes to drive in.

I just left the warning on who doesn’t like a warning?
Question is it audible or ? .It was set to braking but in 9000 plus miles never did anything 🤔thanks again
Quick update, after a couple members mentioning that their 392's would reset the active braking back after a couple drives I have been checking mine and sure enough it went back to the Forward Collision braking and audible setting. I turned everything off and after a week have not had it come back. Also in the dash display lower left corner there is an icon on now every time I start the jeep that shows Forward Collision is off.

Thanks so much for confirming.

I've only had my 392 for about 10 days (used 2021 model), I've never had fancy tech in a vehicle before and this happened to me the other day and I thought I was a goner. I was coming up on a car so I let off the gas, but didn't hit the brakes as I knew the distance between us would balance out as they continued at their pace....BOOM beeping, tires locked, really had me shook. it hasn't happened since, but I need to turn off forward collision entirely.

I have to look next time. Im assuming it has stayed off since I turned it off the day I brought it home. Had it 2 1/2 years and this has not happened.

thanks for posting this info, must have been scary when the brakes almost caused a pileup.

Mine has been off since I bought it in January this year. Last week when I updated my Tazer Mini JL and went for a drive right after that same thing happened to me. I had a 50 lb table saw that came flying forward from the back and hit the back of my seat and locked up all four tires, lucky there were no cars behind me. I was shocked and pissed at the same time, what an absolutely stupid ass feature...

Silver lining, it's moments like this that remind me the importance of tying things down. Now, you're not going to see me tying down a bottle of champagne and bag of chicken nuggets, but I still know there's an importance to it. It'd be a tragedy to lose a bottle of champagne.

100%, I normally do and was driving it over to return it to a friends house early in the morning and just threw it in back. Lucky it was not worse and it was full of saw dust so entire inside was a mess...

I checked mine today and as I suspected it has not changed since I set it to warning only 2 1/2 years ago.

I tend to use all of them plus the median in the Jeep. The lane departure feature is in my Toyotas and F250.

Oh I thought you had a special Jeep. I always liked the feature in my other vehicles but I don't see it being very good in a Jeep.

When I hear lane departure, I think of how quickly I'm departing my lanes. In that case, my Jeep is hard coded for lane departure.
