🛠️ What did you do to your Jeep 392 today?

Waiting on my Bartact covers. I had them on my last jeep and loved them. They are very well-made, I noticed their priced doubled since I bought my last set. Ouch!
I have them in my 2003 TJ as well. I love the quality of these seat covers! Agree on the price doubling.

They are the MOPAR OEM Steps.
where did you order them from? what is the part number everything i see says wont fit.

My local Jeep dealer had a set in stock. The hole pattern was identical to the OEM rock sliders, so the swap out was quick and easy; although, I was surprised at the heavier weight of the rock sliders when the first one landed on my chest. The steps were very light and easy to install. I will try and find a part number on the steps.

MOPAR Steps Part Numbers appear to be 68292907AF & 68292906AF ?

Thank you for your detailed update, very informative. Curious though as to why you chose the 12V outlet in the console to power the GMRS Radio.

What do I do to my 392 today? Keyed my mopar locking gas cap to my fob key and went tearing up a local trail, getting my Jeep good and muddy, as any Jeep should be.

I put 35s on the 392 and a Teraflex tire carrier. Be aware, the backup camera is mounted differently than before and doesn’t mount securely to Teraflex’s camera bezel, I ended up super gluing it on. I got 35-11.5-17 tires so they fit very nicely with the stock rims. I don’t plan on replacing the beadlock wheels that 392s come with, I like them a lot. Jeep is dirty because I just got done putting it thru it’s paces over Red Rock Pass in Idaho/Montana, thru Deerlodge/Beaverhead area. It’s a good Jeep trail, not difficult, but you need a 4wd with clearance, and a 4L comes in very handy for the steep spots.

Teraflex has an adapter for the camera mount. Sent it to me free

I installed a Quadratec Flashlight Mount for my 3-D-Cell Maglight. Note: Quadratec offers both the mount alone or a mount + flashlight combo. I ordered the combo but was not satisfied with the quality of the flashlight, so Quadratec agreed to take the flashlight back for a $20 refund. The mount is high quality, very easy to install, and is positioned low enough that it won’t interfere with things you may have stored in the door “pocket net”. Also pictured is a portable LED light from Quadratec that attaches via velcro straps around the roll bar and can be quickly removed by pulling on one of the two tabs securing it to the mounting straps.

I also mounted an ELEMENT Fire Extinguisher to the driver’s side roof panel, knowing I will rarely remove either panel...and, if the Jeep catches fire and I can’t escape, I guess I can fight the fire while I’m sitting there :). The fire extinguisher only comes with one clip but I found a distributor for additional clips. I liked this fire extinguisher so much I installed one in the glove box of my other vehicle.

I like where you mounted your Element fire extinguisher. Mine came with two clips. Do you have a link for the Maglight mount?
