🛠️ What did you do to your Jeep 392 today?

Not today but this week anyway.

Installed soft top... Added Weld Clinch wheels and 35 Toyo RTs .. installed my Rigid cubes.. Installed Borla Atak.. Tinted front windows.. stealth ppf on radio screen.. added hotheads sunshade.. and removed the rear tow hook and bumper end caps.

What do you think about your Toyo RT's....
Offfroad sand performance?
Onroad performance?
Compared to K02's?

Over the weekend, added a WeatherTech cargo mat, and a J&L oil separator. Also received a EZ cart for one set of the doors.

FWIW...I received two items that I felt earned the need to mention.

1. Armorlite Rear Cargo Mat - Over the years I've hade several mats in previous Jeeps from cheap to OEM to expensive. The fit and coverage of this mat is the best I've experienced. The mat's backing also offers some added grip to the underlying carpet which is nice. For my application this is the best rear mat by far. My only complaint so far is the high shipping cost ($35). I'm sure it's the result of dimensional weight since they're obviously using the same box that fits multiple pieces of their products. I did receive a 10% discount which they offer at times and around holidays. Keep in mind I have a 2024 with the carpet gap cover. I would definitely buy again.

2. Tazer SWG Extension Cable. Getting to the SWG for me is a PITA. Thankfully ZAuto makes this accessory. Item appears to be good quality and will make my life much easier when needed.

I'm not affiliated with either business. Just a customer.

And I’m not sure if you recently changed your oil or potentially have a leak… it looks like there’s some oil residue in this pic in the area of the filter / adapter. I’d hate for you to get stranded on a trail with an oil leak.

Haha. Yeah. There was a mishap when changing the oil. I had accidentally left the oil cap off up top when draining the oil and when the plug came out the oil shot out so fast that it sprayed everywhere. Including all over me. Took most of a bag of oil-dry and a shower to get it all cleaned up.... live and learn.

Better than a leak! Have fun on your trip! Add Idaho to that list there’s plenty of scenic trails here.

First round of mods done and of course there is nothing like some real world off roading to show you what’s lacking. Week in Telluride and 5 badges later, here is my short list

New Weboost mount
New Midland radio mount
Redo Anvil Overload layout
Shopping AAL for more storage
Add a new / better air compressor as the factory one sucks. Probably ARB.
Address constant power steering overheating problems
Address factory suspension articulation problems
Add off-road lights

Your Jeep looks Great! Does your light bar make noise while driving? I'm thinking about a similar step up, I had a light bar set up on my Jk, we took a very long road trip and it howled 99% off the time, it was so loud we could not even hear the stereo.
