Been looking for a simple and nice execution of the backup lighting improvement. Wired to Aux 4. This slim 4” bar from Litt Industries outputs 700 lumens, not super bright as BajaDesigns S1 or S2 but does what I need.

Installed WESTIN AUTOMOTIVE HDX DROP NERF STEP BARS. Took a good 3 hours to put them on. Would advise to keep the pinch seem bracket bolts loose until the nerf bar are mounted and bolts have been snug tight, it will make it much easier to align the nerf bar bolts to their brackets.
Also would advise to reuse the original mopar M6 nuts from the pinch seem bolts, as the yellow zink nuts supplied with the kit are low quality, the threads strip easily, lost three while final torquing.

Took my doors off for the first time. I think SOTs look a little funny naked compared to HTs and STs.

Installed the Hothead Headliners on top of the Sound Assassin strips. This is my first experience with anything like this so we'll see if 1) there's any improved quality of the OEM sound system 2) there's any improved heating/cooling in the cab 3) there's any noticeable difference in road noise (I mean, it is a Jeep after all).

I installed a hot head in my LJ top. Before I did it I painted the parts that were not covered by the liner black. It made a very big difference. In FL the air conditioner works much better. Cant say much about the heater because the heater core sprung a leak and I bypassed it because the entire dash has to come out to change it.

Upgrades have started!
Sunrider installed, easy install. Hardest part was putting it together, which was pretty simple. Fits and looks great!
Azuto key hole covers. They are a bit bulky, would prefer something lower profile. But they are easily removed since they are held on by magnets.
GCPA grab handles. Wrapped in paracord that is close to the body color. Great fit and sturdy!
Eleacc wireless Apple car play adaptor. Have had this about a month. Works great when it connects. About 10% of the time the stereo doesn’t recognize it. Just unplug it for a minute, plug it back in and it syncs up.

I like it. that spare just eats up so much real-estate but it does move some weight forward , lower and easier to put in the back than hang on the tailgate .
Very clean look
I wanted the factory option but Jeep pulled it and xr pkg . I was not happy. Any way I put in the hot head liners very happy it will make a difference. I did not pull the top off. Nice job

Thanks I’ve had the Artec kit for about 6 months and just got time to install with the move and all. I’m gonna rout the wires through the vents (brain fart) and ordered vector off-road plugs for the holes. I really like the clean look as well and all of the advantages it brings but also liked the liked the look with the spare so I’m on the fence. Try the vinyl keyhole covers from Underground Graphics they look and work great
