Ugh... "currently unavailable for order"

I have read stories on here about XR orders that ended up being built as non XR when they ran out of XR parts for 2022. Might just be rumors but nothing would surprise me with todays supply chain issues.

I believe they were offered a choice whether to switch to non-XR or get bumped to '23 XR.

Yep I ordered (changed my order) to a 392XR the day Earl was released! I’m on the spreadsheet tracker over at the other forum.

It's been sitting at D status for the past month, no movement. My pile of parts has grown though! Lift, tires, shocks, Tazer have arrived and currently debating wheels, front bumper, and waiting on a sale to buy a winch. Will probably buy these components during cyber monday sales.

I have debated back and forth on lifting, but that’s a slippery slope.
I ordered the rock slide engineering side steps yesterday. North ridge had a killer deal.
I have a winch.
I was debating going with a RK 2.5 lift and steering components and shocks and all that jazz, but I think may just enjoy the XR, then when those tires need replaced, I’ll get all that then.

My build order number with XR package was confirmed on July 15th and it finally went into production this week on October 11th, I assume all good at this stage, the estimated delivery is on November 16th.

I don't know where everyone gets the D or the E status codes from honestly, I am simply looking at the Jeep Tracker where you plug your last name and VON into it and it spits out the status. As I said I got my VIN a couple weeks ago and it was scheduled and then Monday this week, it shows its In Production this week, week of October 11th and has an estimated delivery date of roughly one month out on November 16th.

I am looking on the jeep.com site under owners under order tracking. My dealer gave me the link with the VON when my order got confirmed back in mid July and I've been looking at it every day since and this week it finally went into production.

Lol, I ordered a non XR because I didn’t want to miss out. I put another deposit down with another dealership for an XR so I guess they are gonna call me if and when it opens back up. I also started shopping for parts for the new Jeep

That’s probably the best plan. The XR should be awesome and all you need is a winch. My current Jeep is a 2018 on 37s and my kids said the 392 “has to have tires at least this big or bigger”!
