For those cheering for the "middle class that only wants 40% salary increases, 4 day work week, defined plan benefits, etc":

Notice who actually are the majority owners of Stellantis: your pension/401k funds.

While executive greed is a valid point, why stop there? Let's start boycotting all NFL/NBA/Concerts/etc!!! Afterall they earn more than most executives without adding a penny to the economy.

NFL/NBA is a terrible example. The players make millions, the owners make billions. I'm just a fan of more evenly spreading the wealth in this country. I'm all for working hard and being rewarded for it, someone's always going to make more than the next guy, but the wealth gap in this country has accelerated over the last 40 years and that's not a good thing.

Think they should be grateful for how much they do make. For not having to have any required higher education, trained skills, or liability they make a lot of money. If anything some of us white collars workers should form our own union. Also don’t agree with the 30mil CEO.

Seriously, dude. If your ideology is so fragile that you have to attack anyone who disagrees with you by childishly calling them names and admonishing them for daring to read from "unapproved" sources, maybe you should rethink publicly trying to defend it.

Despite being satire, it's also pretty prophetic. Why would the companies NOT be thinking of replacing grumbling, not-very-productive workers with robots that will never want a 40% raise for showing up 20% fewer hours each week, and that do their jobs quickly, accurately, 24x7 without interruption?

If you are thinking of pulling out some more name calling , maybe just don't. You are like "that" guy in a bar who is drunk, belligerent and ruining everyones good time. Nobody wants to ask you to stop, because everyone knows you'll only get worse.

I'm only here for a good time, but if you are making it a hassle, then I have nothing to lose. Frankly, I'm shocked that the Admins have not shown you the door already. You've been given way more leeway than you should have been given.

I didn't name call. What are you talking about? I literally stated what Babylon Bee is. It's a satire page and shouldn't be taken seriously at all. I was asking if you knew that, but you calling it prophetic shows you take it seriously.

Sure, companies have been looking to replace employees with robots for 40 years. That's nothing new based on this strike. The "Mexican" part was just racist bait. There's no other way to spin that.
