Tracking Order Status of Your Wrangler 392

We placed our order 11/19/20 and it arrived on 4/17/21- We love it !!!!!,

I’m in the window for delivery in TX also. Jeep chat told me to expect delivery 5/13-5/27. I’m sure some sit around waiting for the next train heading to the same hub. Logistics. I bet several of us in TX all receive them during the same week very soon. Mine was ordered 11/23.

Delivery time changes on location/vehicle availability. Some orders require several different trucks and trains to get it to the final yard. After it reaches the yard for the final truck, it will wait until the truck is at full capacity (Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram) before it is sent out to the dealership


Edit: I forgot to mention as well, that sometimes the ordering system hasn't updated 100% and the vehicle arrives sooner!

All I know is jeep is pissing me off with this stupid 392...I went to one dealer put a 1k deposit down and they told me 4-5months, so I walk and find another dealer who made me buy their order as is, but they have it in c schedule for the past 6 days now...no Vin #, just a von # and of course slowest process ever...my sister just ordered a regular wrangler Sahara, of course that has a Vin and is moving along much faster and smoother than my order...makes u wonder if the 392 is even worth it?

Ordered mine in November and all I hear is

The way I see it...the 392 is not a Jeep that will be mass-produced. They don't have thousands of those hoods with the hydro guide laying around. They are making most or all of those, and other unique 392 parts as they get ordered. The other trims are mass produced and parts for them are abundant.

Now to your question, is it worth waiting for it? Only you can answer that question. It is very worth it to me. The Bronco guys are waiting a year for theirs.

Ordered mine in November and all I hear is

Go to the FCA chat and tell them you want to escalate your case. From there you will receive custom emails from a Jeep representative and not have to deal with the chat anymore. I did this during my purchase process and it is where/when things finally got moving.

I ordered from Demontrond on Jan 2, I was #5 but they only have 4 allocations. At the time they told me no big deal, it will get built...April 1st my dealer tells me he doesn’t have any confidence it will get built because of the chip shortage and that I should find an allocated one. I called 20 plus dealerships and did find some just not what I wanted or way over MSRP. I found one in Ohio that I put 5k down on and was able to make the changes that I wanted. It had been ordered on Feb 1st. Two weeks ago Demontrond got their first one in, the guy backed out so they called me. It is white, not my color. They sold 15 minutes later. That same day my dealer called me again to tell me that the second one was also available and it happened to be the color o wanted, not all the options I wanted it had been ordered on Nov. 23rd and the VIN was already on it. The dealer in Ohio refunded my money. That Jeep still doesn’t have a vin. MSRP at Demontrond, I was 5k over in Ohio. Imminent delivery.

The Jeep arrived at my dealer in Michigan today. Flying up there in the morning and we will finalize the purchase on Wednesday morning. My attempted upload of photos received feedback that the files are too large. Anyone have input on how to upload larger files?

Any movement yet? We ordered from the same dealer, but I think I ordered a month after you (12/21). I just received my "D" status yesterday. I assume you have your "D" status already, is that correct?

That was the massage from my sales rep 2 days ago. No word since and yes I have been in D status. I ordered on 11/21/20.

I assume that you will end up with yours about a month before me. I am thinking mine will be arriving sometime around the middle of July. That is a long time to wait....

Thank you sir, a white one came in about 10 days ago. I saw him at Discount Tire, I was ordering wheels and tires for the 392, he was putting his on.
