Torn Between '23 or '24 392

Now my 2024 392 has arrived, I had the opportunity to live with the 'infamous red seats.'

They were more like warm-burgundy color in person. The seats looked pretty sporty, the structure was very supportive, and the nappa leather seemed high-quality.

I can't believe I'd say this, "I actually like them!"

Good for you! You are the one that needs to be happy. ;) …doesn't look too bad.

Had a ‘23 392 that I traded for my ‘24. Haven’t looked back. Only thing I run into is compatibility with some things. But other than that, the updates they made are the right ones. Once you live with it, you realize and appreciate them.

This is really good to hear. My BMW XM is 3 additional days in the shop shy of lemon territory, and I was thinking if the 24 was a better experience for regular highway trips, I'd not need to buy yet another SUV. I've had 2 392 (22 & 23) & loved them both. But they were both cars I just kept in one place, didn't take them with me to my other places. It would be a dream if the 24 was just slightly more road trip/ commute friendly.

Which would those be? Is it the screen, seats, or sound deadening? Really curious as I have been pondering going from 23-24. If there was a nice green I would have already done it. Just no to sure on HVY with those seats

Screen - the wider screen follows the dash lines nicely, screen itself is of higher quality

new UConnect - everything loads instantly, wireless CarPlay is fantastic, factory maps software is much more feature packed

dash materials - I like the dash inserts being contoured and a leather material, they feel more premium

seats/nappa leather - I personally like the red seats, understanding some don’t. The nappa itself is a much more comfortable and soft leather

sound deadening - didn’t realize how much of an effect this has until driving it

additional Bluetooth mic location - people can actually hear me clear as day

Other subjective exterior things that I like, the grill and no antenna being a couple. Full float rear is nice to have for extra assurances.
