The mysterious torque reserve (launch control) who knows all about it?? Bet not many lol

Possibly, I don’t know for sure tho…it’s hard to keep it from rolling through the brakes. Try pumping your brakes a couple times then floor your brakes. 2000-2500 RPMs
The engine sound change is pretty obvious…that being said it won’t engage if you are rolling too much

See that's the weird thing though because it shouldn't be hard to keep it from rolling through the brakes. Most launch control systems you brake then floor the gas - car doesn't even move because it's programed not to. Release the brake and you're off. I'll keep playing with it when I find some even spots - NJ roads suck and are overcrowded usually.

Clearly not a good system, it’s inconsistent and difficult to engage. I feel like it was an afterthought. But remember this is in a Jeep Wrangler…that fact that’s it’s even possible is pretty awesome.

It's kinda weird they didnt put in a launch hard button like the GC/Durango SRT and TRX.

Yea. Sucks wish it worked better lol

So quick update. Went driving around and tried it a few times. Hard brake /partial throttle. Full throttle tried a bunch of different things. Nothing engaged to my knowledge.

I definitely didn't hear any change in exhaust note or engine tone. Sounded exactly as you would think this Jeep would sound if you're applying brake and gas at the same time.

I think torque reserve is bullshit lol unless anyone can show me proof of it working its a wives tale at this point to me.
